Situated between Lake Brienzsee and Lake Thun, the small and aptly-named city of Interlaken features a surprisingly large number of sights and activities worth exploring. The following come highly recommended.
Jungfrau. Make it a point to visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site located high above the city. At well over 11,000 feet, the train station known as the Jungfraujoch is the highest station in Europe.
