The pick up was on time, the driver was helpful and informative and the itinerary was good. An excellent day and the Blue Mountains are a stunning sight.
Had a great hike in the Blue Mountains. Happy to have such a small group of only 4 hikers, along with 2 guides. Both guides were extremely friendly, knowledgable, and passionate about the outdoors. We were picked up and delivered back to our hotel near Sydney Harbor. Everything was on time, with no unexpected problems. The hike itself was pretty strenuous, which was exactly what we wanted, to weed out those who weren't serious about hiking, and those who were out of shape. Overall, I would rate this as an excellent activity while in the Sydney area.
Doing what: Blue Mountain Small-Group Day Hikes from Sydney
The tour started with Bus picking up at the hotel I stayed. On time and comfortable. The ride was good and the driver who is also the tourist guide is informative. Blue mountains was nice. Then Featherdale park is awesome coz I can touch a Koala and took plenty of photos.
The Blue mountains are definitely worth the trip to see, and I would recommend two days if possible to really see everything. The guide, Johnny was very informative not only about the area, but also the history and culture of Sidney and the Blue Mountains. The tour takes you beyond just the normal tour sites and really lets you gain a true understanding of the vast area called the blue mountains. I highly recommend Johnny and the small group eco tour.
This trip was fantastic, all helped along by Mark who kept us all laughing throughout the day. He was very knowledgeable and stopped at some great lookouts, where nobody else seemed to be. The blue mountains are definitely worth a visit, we were lucky and had a glorious day, so the views were great. Certainly worth the early start a must for anyone staying in Sydney.
our guide paul was really knowledgeable and put customer satisfaction ahead of everything. it is a great tour if you havent got the time to explore blue mountains and the jenolan caves.
What a fabulous two-day experience! The harbor cruise was fantastic with wonderful views of the sights and a yummy lunch. We took the cruise after the city tour so we almost felt like experts listening to the recorded information about the places we were passing. The Blue Mountains tour on the following day was even more impressive. Getting out of the city center is a must when visiting Sydney and the Blue Mountains are simply spectacular. A visit to the Featherdale Wildlife Park only enhances the experience because you are allowed to get ridiculously close to the animals. Couldn't recommend this combo more highly!
Wonderful Blue Mountains and very cute koalas!!!

Absolutely wonderful! The bus is first class and very comfortable. Our driver, Stephen, was funny, informative, and extremely helpful. The blue Mountains are not to be missed!
This Tour was great! The tour guide made the trip informative and hilarious. There was not a moment where we did not know what to do, everything was explained in detail and the day went well! Would most definitely take this tour again and would recommend to all other wanting to see the blue mountains in sydney!
Fantastic day trip... as normal with Viator, it was well organised and lots to do and see, with a lot of surprise extras thrown in! Stephen was a tour guide and was an absolute pleasure...my highlight was the time we spent with the Aborigine family - a deep insight into their culture but the Blue Mountains - fab! The scenic cable car, steep train so much to do. Couldn't fault this trip, it was 7 trips in one. Great value. Definitely recommend.
We had a great day trip from Sydney to the Blue Mountains. Our Driver/Guide was very friendly and he made sure we got the most from this trip. THe time was well distributed. We felt we could have spent a little more time at the animal park, but, there were many actrivities packed into this trip, and we were glad to be able to experience them all.
I strongly reccommend this tour for anyone visiting Sydney.
We had a fantastic time in the blue mountains, although I'm not sure the reason the official line is correct re the reason there called 'blue mountains' it was soooo cold when we went and the wind chill factor was freezing! So I reckon there called blue coz that's the colour you go if your not correctly dressed! Apparently it's cold up there even in summer so you need to advice customer of the correct clothing needed, it was a lovely day in Sydney the day before and the forecast for much the same on the Friday! That aside it was still great and J our driver was very good, informative and helpful! The scenery was spectacular the wildlife park wonderful! Great day thoroughly recommend it!
What an amazing day! Our driver/guide was funny and informative, the Blue Mountains were stunning, the wild life park was fantastic and the trip back into Sydney by boat was a great end to a perfect day

Really enjoyed this trip. Loved Featherdale Wildlife Park and being able to get close to the kangaroos and koalas. The Blue Mountains were great even though we couldn't actually see anything due to the fog, but the forest was beautiful due to the recent rain and the waterfall even had lots of water (which apparently it doesn't usually). Enjoyed the hike down the mountain even though it is not something I would usually do. All in all a great day out and I would definitely go again.
