The tour is value for money. The only let down is the sydney tower eye, not so impressive.

Doing what: Sydney Tower Restaurant Buffet
Visited the Sydney Tower Restaurant for a Sunday lunch with husband and our two daughters. Really enjoyed the view and atmosphere. Kids were amazed by the scenery. Food was good and drinks were supplied quickly. Service was also good. Would visit again

Sydney Tower was a good experience, we did the walk on the outside of the tower during the day. Our guide was very friendly and helpful and the view was spectacular.

Doing what: Sydney Tower Restaurant Buffet
I booked the Sydney Tower for my husband's birthday. Initillay when we arrived, the staff were pretty unorganised and I had to convince and show them that I had pre-paid for a package that included alcohol! Tables weren't clean, but honestly despite all this the views and the food and drink were worth it.

Doing what: Sydney Tower Restaurant Buffet
We enjoyed the experience and the views from the Sydney Tower. But the buffet was very very average. We were glad that we didnt pay full price for the food. And the service for drinks was almost non-existent. But, if you want to see great views of the city, this is a great place to see them.

Doing what: Sydney Tower 360 Bar and Dining
We went on a very cloudy day, so the view was not what I am sure it could have been. Although the view is probably much more beautiful on a clear day, you still can not see the Sydney Opera house as it is blocked by another plain looking cement building and the Sydney Bridge is also partially blocked. I would not recommend spending the money at this time to dine in the Sydney Tower. They are under construction, it was very cold in the building, the power went off when we were in the elevator leaving us stuck for a short while, and the food was not bad but not nearly worth what we paid.

Doing what: Sydney Tower Eye
We were dissapointed with our visit to the Sydney Tower, while we appreciate that all places need updating, but the place was a complete building site, and unfortunatly did impact on our visit. On the possitive site was easy to find with directions and fantastic views.

Doing what: Sydney Tower Restaurant Buffet
We were disappointed after visiting Sydney Tower point for dinner on 18/10. We were a group of 4 dinners and we all felt the same. The food was not fresh, Morton bay bugs were tasteless, the prawns were small, very soft and tasteless. The other food was cafeteria standard. Most of it looked like mush. The worst thing was that one of the chefs was not wearing gloves while handling the food. He was filling small Pavlovs with cream, then reached into the fruit salad bowl with his ungloved hand picking up the fruit to decorate the Pavlovs. We were disgusted. The cost to us was $85.00 per person--a total rip off. Since this experience, would not recommend this venue to eat, only for the view. After speaking to hotel staff at the Crowne Plaza, taxi drivers and the general public, we have found a lot of dissatisfied people with same experience that we had. I hope you can do something about the food, as the view is excellent.

Doing what: Best of Sydney: Lunch Cruise, Sydney Half-Day Tour and Sydney Tower Restaurant
Although the weather was atrocious the harbour lunch was excellent as was the tour of Sydney but the food at the Sydney Tower was terrible. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Doing what: Best of Sydney: Lunch Cruise, Sydney Half-Day Tour and Sydney Tower Restaurant
The tour was OK, but buffet lunch provided by the harbour tour operator was below average and buffet dinner at Sydney Tower was very ordinary.

Doing what: Sydney Sightseeing Pass: Aquarium, Sydney Tower Eye, Wild life Sydney and Sydney Harbour Cruise
The full pass was not a good choice. The cruise and Sydney Tower were not good. The best choice is to use a discount coupon for Aquarium and choose Breakfast with Koala at Wildlife World if staying in Sydney.

Doing what: Sydney Tower Eye
Sydney Tower had great views, but the OzTrek is very dated and really not worth the visit. An old rickety ride, and some of special effects don't work. If you can just go up the tower, do that!

Doing what: Sydney Tower Restaurant Buffet
Although the view from the Sydney Tower was spectacular, the buffet was a huge disappointment. It was overpriced and the lady who served the meat was quite rude. Nowhere near as good as it was several years ago when we took our visitors there. We also had to wait for 25 minutes before getting seated.

Doing what: Sydney Tower Restaurant Buffet
We visited the sydney tower restaurant on Sunday 6th November, and while the views were magnificent the food was absolutely appalling. You certainly wouldn't go there for the food!!!!

Doing what: Sydney Tower Restaurant Buffet
The Sydney Tower Restaurant Buffet has been the worst dining experience I have ever experienced in regards to a buffet. I booked this for a special dinner because my wife and I had special guest from Canada. I have never been more embarrassed in my life. There was literally nothing to eat there. We don't eat beef, so our options were even more limited. The food was all cold and tasteless, and frankly, I've gone to better buffets in RSL clubs. The selection was a grand total of about 3 things edible. Our guest was also very disappointed. I will never ever recommend the buffet restaurant to anyone ever again, no will I ever go there again. The only good thing was the view, but at $75 a head, you would really expect to get decent food as well as nice views. I wish you the best of luck, but you have been warned.
