10 Things to do on a rainy day in Sydney

Yes, it does occasionally rain in Sydney. Particularly in the winter months of June, July and August. My favorite ways to spend a rainy day in Sydney are as follows:

1.    Art Gallery of New South Wales
Take in the largest permanent collection of Aboriginal art in the world – for free! You can even take the kids if you like.

2.    Museum of Sydney
Learn about Sydney’s Aboriginal and European history and get a taste of the city’s contemporary culture through a series of changing exhibitions.

3.    Opera House
A guided tour of the Opera House will take you behind the scenes of this iconic building (and out of the rain!).
