My friends and I did all four stops in one day and that day was fantastic! A great introduction to the wildlife of Australia and the Harbour cruise was awesome.
We had a great time!! I highly recommend doing the morning cruise. The lady who narrated did a fantastic job talking about the history of Sydney and all its landmarks.
Was disappointed with our trip. When I booked it sounded like an upmarket trip worthy of celebrating a special occasion which we were (our 30th Wedding Anniversary). The food was orginary and the service by staff on the cruise was nothing special. We were not even asked if we wanted a drink with our meal until it was time for our dessert!! I would not recoomend it to anyone else and certainly will not be travelling on the dinner cruise in future.
It is nice to jumping into this cruise. Kids really enjoyed the experience. A free cup ot tea served in the cruise would make the trip more enjoyable.
I recommend these tours both at night and during the day.....we went on a night cruise with smorgasbord dinner.
The variety of food was great and plentiful. I could not have any of the mains dishes as they had ingredients I was allergic to so the chef made me a dish just for me..I was very impressed...Sydney harbour by night is magical with all the lights...
During the day it is wonderful as you get a different perspective of the harbour..
all in all, great cruises....
I booked this lunch cruise for a surprise for my husband and it was a great success. The food was lovely and the staff were very attentive . Would recommend this trip to all my friends and can't wait to book another trip.
Very nice cruise. Food was good-not great. Our server was fantastic, very friendly. Definitely use Captain Cook ferries if you can. Much more explanation than on city ferry. However, the cruise is a little misnamed. There was not a sunset to be seen. 5-6:30 is too early in the middle of February anyway. Did feel a bit rushed--there was another cruise on the vessel shortly after ours. Photographer was good too.
This was a great value for money trip. The location to meet was easy central and easy to find. The only thing that let it down was that the cruise only circled one way so if you weren't sitting on the best side of the vessel you missed seeing what the commentary was talking about.
An excellant cruise. Crew members absolutely professional and so courteous..
Lunch was first class and the vessel a delight to see Sydney harbour
Lunch cruise was great, bus tour was great, dinner in Tower Restaurant as very disappointing.
A couple of things to mention: it would be helpful to print on voucher for lunch cruise that you need to check in at booking office at pier 6 to receive boarding pass for boat - nearly missed the boat! Also on arrival at Darling Harbour, we were instructed to 'go up there' where someone was supposed to meet us to take us to the bus - no-one was there, we went to the cruise office nearby and asked about the bus tour. The person behind the counter then came outside holding a board to attract attention to bus tour patrons (bit late). She took us to where the bus would pull in (in 5-10 minute) then left us. 20 minutes later the bus arrived. We had to ask the bus driver what happens after dinner at the Tower and was told we are on our own. He told us how to get back to our hotel from the Tower.
These may seem little things to you but in such a tourist orientated city it is important to pay attention to all details for your visitors who are not familiar with the city.
SEATING WAS NOT GOOD FOR SEEING THE DANCE FLOOR AND I PAID EXTRA TO SIT BY THE WINDOW(NOT WORTH IT). FIRST CRUISE THAT I COULD NOT SEE THE DANCE FLOOR. YOU HAD TO PAY FOR TAP WATER. A PERSON WOULD THINK THAT A PERSON COULD GET FREE TAP WATER. THE FOOD WAS OK.
Cruise was very relaxing and well organised, wait staff were very attentive for such a short amount of time.
