Doing what: Hunter Valley Wine Tasting Day Tour from Sydney
Overall a good tour. I have to admit that I was hesitant about the large bus, but the bus was very comfortable and the tour is structured to allow many stops so that you do not have to spend too long on the bus. Of course the ride out to the Hunter Valley and back is a far distance, but nothing can be done about that. I tasted a lot of great wines and I was very impressed with the quality of the lunch. It was delicious! The stop at Hunter Valley Gardens was a great end to the day. I just wish the Hunter Valley wasn't so far.

Doing what: Hunter Valley Wine Tasting Day Tour from Sydney
Great tour with plenty of time at the wineries. It was nice to have free time at the last stop at the Hunter Valley Gardens where we did a tasting at the Tempus Two cellar door. The only thing I would change is more time at the pub in Wollombi which was awesome.

Doing what: Hunter Valley Wine Tasting Day Tour from Sydney
Pick up from hotel was pretty ordinary waiting an extra 20 minutes. Tour guide was really just a bus driver. He didn't talk much, so basically we were all falling asleep until we reached our 1st stop. Woolambi Tavern. Lovely morning tea and quaint little town. On to 3 different wineries and only the one Hunter valley one was really organised and ready to show us there wines. Lunch there was fantastic and they were able to cater for special dietary requirements as well. Trip was well worth it, but a bit more commentary and a few jokes on the way would have made it a better experience!

Excellent wine testing and meal in the hunter valley but a too long trip by bus (more than 6 hours). Also a no good managing of the bus pick up and return in the sydney hotels!

Doing what: Hunter Valley Wine Tasting Day Tour from Sydney
It was overall all right but if given more time at the Hunter Valley garden would be good. Did not know that the entrance fee to the garden is not included.

Doing what: Hunter Valley Wine Tasting Day Tour from Sydney
I found this tour to be OK, but we did not get to do the third wine tasting as promised because the driver/guide told us the winery staff knocked off around 3.30pm. Instead we were dropped off at some shops at Hunter Valley Park for half an hour to kill time. We did not get to buy any wine at the winery visited because of insufficient time given, but to fair to the coach driver, I think overall he did a good job.

Doing what: Hunter Valley Wineries and Wilderness Small-Group Tour
The tour guide was too chatty. We were hurried through the wineries to tour the valley with no stops. The guide took us through the hill & valleys of Hunter Valley which took valuable time off the wine experiences. The first winery 'ships' to the U.S. but he didn't explain that was the only one that provided the service.
