Despite the city’s popularity among those of retirement age, more youthful visitors should have no problem finding things to do. There’s shopping, dining and entertainment at St. Petersburg Pier and BayWalk. Nature lovers can head to the Sunken Gardens, which calls itself “St. Petersburg's oldest living museum.” And if you’re traveling with kids, check out the Great Explorations Children’s Museum.
Along with beaches and entertainment, St. Petersburg also has a thriving arts community, which is reflected in some of its most popular museums. The city has a Museum of Fine Arts, a collection of Dale Chihuly’s glasswork at the Chihuly Collection and the Salvador Dali Museum, which houses the largest collection of Dali’s work outside of Europe.
And, if those suggestions aren’t enough, there’s also always the option of water sports, renting a bike or simply taking a stroll along the city’s Downtown Waterfront Park on a breezy afternoon.

Doing what: St Petersburg Historical Segway Tour
Loved the headsets! Dee, our guide, was able to tell us all the historical details without having to stop and gather in a group every few minutes. We've done other Segway tours and felt this one really showed us a lot. The locations we cruised through - from downtown to seeing manatees at the see wall - were incredible. Highly recommend.
