For some of the best diving in the region, head on over to Phuket to explore the pristine waters of the Andaman Sea. Located in the Indian Ocean, the mighty Andaman extends all the way from Myanmar down to Thailand, but it is in Phuket where the routes and diving options are already well established.

With visibility best between October and May, the sea has an extensive bedding of coral reefs and marine life unique to Southeast Asia. While in the area, check in with your hotel, who would certainly be advertising diving tours that are commonly very cheap. Loads of restaurants and bars are doing the same.
