The beaches on these small islands located a few hours from Phuket are as idyllic as it gets. It’s a busy place, to be sure, but if you aren’t bothered by crowds, the island has more than enough picturesque sights and pristine beaches to make up for the lack of solitude.
The main island made an appearance in several movies, including the blockbuster DiCaprio picture, The Beach (2000). This, along with its many natural splendors, has helped to make it such a popular spot.
