the pass made access so quick and easy i didnt use it all but enjoyed the 7 places i went to. I found people very helpful as well.

the bus had finished for the day the driver seen me waiting he took me back to where i needed to go and also gave me the tour talk well done
Great value for money, went to 24 museums and attractions in the three days and saved over £50 in admission fees. I also got discounts in restaurants and shops. if you are visiting Yorkshire and planning on visiting lots of attractions this pass is absolutely essential.
Great way to get an overview of the city!
I purchased both a two day Yorkshire Pass and a fifteen day Great British Heritage Pass. Most of the attractions outside of York that I wanted to visit were covered by both passes.
I visited a number of key attractions in York (Jorvik Viking Centre, York Minster, York Castle Museum, Cliffords Tower, Barley Hall) in one day and only needed a one day Yorkshire pass.
However, if someone wishes to see York in more depth, a two day Yorkshire Pass might be advisable.

Great weekend away, Yorkshire Pass made things cheaper and no need to worry about extra spending money to cover the places of interest.
Good way to see an overview of a city and decide what and what not you want to see. Bus starting point not easy to find. Otherwise excellent.
We used the pass on a weekend visit to York. It was definitely worthwhile but we very disappointed that, despite the boat trip being flagged up as an important item in the publicity, it could only be used on only 1 of the 50 sailings a day - and that was at a very inconvenient time! 7.30pm. None of the guided walks were included either. On our return journey we used our pass to visit the Deep in Hull which was a bonus.
All of these passes are great. It saves you money. We had a one day pass and managed to see just about everything we wanted to. Wish we had been in York one more day.
A later finishing time would be better, for example around 18:00 arrival at the tourist office.
We love the hop on, hop off bus tour to familiarize ourselves with the main attractions and the lay out of a new city.
