Most of the tour was delightful, with the exception of the rain and the inability to see Mt. Fuji. That is no fault of the tour, just the weather. I was however not impressed with the lake cruise. I wish that they had some commentary on the boat to let you know about the lake and the scenery. All in all a good tour.
It was raining, the guide was OK, lunch excellent, although we did not see a bit of Fuji :) check the weather forecast before booking!
Great day, the skies cleared so we had a great view of Mt Fuji. Our guide was fantastic, and she even had the bus stop at an undesignated stop when the cloads cleared so we can see the mountain.
there was a spring storm during my trip and we did not get to mt. fuji. I would rather that the trip was cancelled and our tour re-booked.
Great tour although it is very weather-sensitive. Fortunately we were able to see Mt. Fuji despite of the slight fog/humidity in the air.
I would have preferred to ride the ropeway for the full path instead of only the first part, anyway it was spectacular.

excellent guide but very bad weather
A great tour with an excellent guide. Unfortunately, we can only glimpse Mt. Fuji in about three minutes before it was covered by clouds. We will definitely taking the Sunrise Tour again in the future.
This tour was great. Even though we were early in the spring and could not all that far up the mountain there was still a very good view and plenty of other stops through out the day.
Pick up was a breeze as the guide has a list of your names and know who they are looking for at each location. They are also very helpful when dropping you off giving you information on how to get back to your hotel (we were not staying at the pick up location).
Great trip and well worth the money. I would reccomend this to anyone.
The tour was well organised. The guide was lovely and spoke good English. We were impressed with the whole tour and would highly recommend it, especially if you wanted a days retreat from Tokyo.
Disappointing day. Guide's English took a bit of time to get used to but he was quite interesting in his comments on Japanese life.
Too much time taken up on the road for the few sights included. I would recommend a 2 day or more trip to include more of the Hakone area.
Cruise was too short to be really interesting. 5th Station was closed due to snow and views from 4th Station limited. Reasonable views from top of rope way but car too overcrowded for enjoyment.
My husband and I were so happy with this tour. We had an amazing tour guide. I would recommend this tour for anyone.
I am very satisfied in our Mt. Fuji day trip tour. Very reasonable price for a splendid view on our way. The tourist guide was very informative. I enjoy the short cruise in Lake Ashi and cable car in Hakone. It was a sunny day so view of Mt. Fuji was perfect the whole day. Thank you Viator for your remarkable service to the tourist.
Good day trip, well organized and the tour guide was very good too. My only concern with this trip is that it is very weather dependent. Without getting a good view of Mt. Fuji the tour would be boring. And Mt. Fuji is very elusive. We were lucky to get a clear day, but still by the afternoon Mt. Fuji was not visible. Unfortunately the tour cannot be cancelled or changes close to trip date without incurring extra costs.
Fantastic views of Fuji and Hakone was a treat. Lunch wasn't as good as the Nikko tour. Dont go at weekends or the traffic will kill you on the way back!
Fantastic trip with another informative guide. Sadly weather spoilt some stunning views and photo opportunities but it didn't stop this being a great trip. I decided not to have the included meal and there were basic eating places across the road nearby. It wa also a great mix of fellow travellers who also made this trip most enjoyable.
