Comment from Emma
Housed in a theatrical looking and puppet-sized building (by Tokyo-standards) in Shinjuku, Puppet Theatre PUK has been charming children and adults with its puppet shows since 1929.
Using a range of puppets and puppetry techniques, including rod puppets, hand puppets, shadow puppets and traditional Japanese puppets, PUK performances are held regularly in its specially constructed puppet theater. In addition to PUK’s own performances, the theater hosts touring puppet shows from many of the world’s leading puppet theater groups. There are even puppet shows exclusively for adults!
