Doing what: Tokyo Sumo Wrestling Tournament

Highly recommended for anyone new to Sumo. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the sport and opened our eyes to the tradition and skill of Sumo. By the end of the day, we were hooked and didn't want to leave. Very skilful and tactical sport. Well organised tour and our guide had perfect english. Would have been improved by direct drop off at the event rather than the long process of bus pick up, assembly at the bus station and then commute by train.

Doing what: Nikko National Park Day Trip from Tokyo

Overall the tour was good. However, it was not what we paid for. Having specifically choosen this tour over other internet advertised tours on Viator's itinerary only half the itinerary was covered. Very disappointing as the substitute waterfall and absence of lake views did not give the Nikko region justice.

Everything in the Museum is simply splendid and wonderful.

Doing what: Nikko National Park Day Trip from Tokyo

A good day out with an excellent tour guide apart from the visit to the Summer Palace. This
seemed like a waste of time. We were told that
this was an change of schedule from the former schedule.

Excellent tour. Very well organised with great tour guides. I personally found the first day quite taxing and could have happily visited either the Owakudani Ropeway or Lake Ashi on the Pirate boat, both of which were interesting, but possibly not both. After that, the ride on the Shinkansen to Kyoto was nice, but in the dark and stopping at almost every station (in spite of being a "superexpress train", having to change trains at Nagoya, and not getting to the hotel until around 10 p.m made it a very long day, as I had to be up at 6 a.m. to get to the beginning of the tour. The Righa Royal Hotel in Kyoto was very comfortable and good quality for a tourist class hotel, but I was surprised to have to pay extra for breakfast at 25,000 yen each day for a buffet breakfast, even accounting for the high prices in Japan as a whole. Generally a good trip and to be recommended. If you travel, as I did, on your own, one of the highlights of the trip may be meeting others from many countries taking the same trip. I found that part very pleasant and interesting.

culture filled, and agency is nice with good background

Service was outstanding, excellent, knowledgeable staff, excellent food. I cannot think of anything that could have been improved

The design of trip is great however we are unlucky on this trip due to bad weather.
Logistics arrangements are very good: good foods, bus,...

Tour guide was great and very informative and pretty easy to understand. We lucked out and got to see some Cherry Blossoms along the way to Mt. Fuji. Hotel in Hakone was very nice, but the local bus stops running at 7pm so we didn't have time to go out anywhere to explore and there is nothing close by. Next time would love 2 nights so we'd have more time to explore the area. Beautiful!!

Doing what: Tokyo Sumo Wrestling Tournament

We had a great tour guide. He informed the group about what was happening and all of the history of sumo. He explained a lot and I am so glad I was able to attend Sumo. We also got to take a picture with a Sumo wrestler! Fantastic.

Raining but very enjoyable. An amazing place.

Everyone receives a 5 star rating. But we were assigned seat 13 and !4 on the bus. No one should be assigned those seats, because there was a huge metal box, attached to the floor, under the seat in front of us. NO SHOE, TOE, AND FORGET ABOUT LEG ROOM. We asked for a different seat but the bus was full and no other seats were available. No one should have this seat assigned to them. The attached to the floor metal box made the bus ride miserable. If I were assigned such seats again with said box I would not accept the seat and demand my money back. Other wise the tour guide, bus driver and all other experiences were great.
