Doing what: Niagara Falls Day Trip from Toronto

Was a great day with very friendly and informative guide. Canadian Niagara Falls was a bit more built up with casino's etc than I expected. Buffet was uninspiring, but provided great view over the falls. Was a little disappointed we didn't get to stay to see the lights shine over the falls.

Great Tour, well worth the cost. Both the tour guild and bus driver were great. We took the optional helicopter flight and were very pleased to have done so, with some excellent views of Niagara Falls. The Maid of the Mist was also very good and would highly recommend it. The option of seeing falls both by daylight and under lights was very rewarding. The dinner at the Sheraton was excellent.

We planned our trip to Toronto specifically to see Niagara Falls. We took time to decide who we booked our trip to the Falls with and we certainly made the right choice with Viator.
The booking process was easy and we received plenty of updates and communication.
We arrived at the pick up point and was met by our tour manager Alan. He was the perfect guide and kept us captivated the whole journey. We would also like to mention Tim the driver who made up some lost time due to a 'fender bender' on the highway out of Toronto!
We only decided to do the helicopter ride on the way and this was a superb way to see our first sight of the Falls.
The Falls are truly spectacular , the Maid of the Mist is obviously the highlight and was wonderful but we also got up real close and personal on our walk with Alan even though it was pouring with rain he still did this part of the tour!
The meal at the Sheraton was also excellent, I was not expecting this to be as good as it was as I had read some bad reviews, but staff were attentive and choice of food was very good. The desserts were to die for!!
We chose to go on a Friday night for the fireworks and this just topped it off.
It truly was a fabulous trip of a lifetime.
Thanks to Viator, Alan and Tim and of course the Falls!!

Great time to see Niagara Falls if you are on limited time. Once good thing, you do not have to worry about dealing with all the traffic. Stopping at the Wine shop was good. Wish this trip would also stop at a produce place. It was a fun day!

The tour itself was great, it covered everything we wanted to see BUT.... our lunch reservation wasn't booked so had to wait 40 minutes in a hallway to eat, the bus then broke down and we had a 2 hour wait before another one could be found. Our driver Eddy was excellent though. Sam the host was knowledgable but kept repeating himself, once we reached Niagara Falls he sat and chain smoked until the bus was late and then disappeared without word - rather disappointing.
It was an enjoyable tour, covered all the stops advertised and was interesting and we got to meet lots of people from all over the world.

I really enjoyed the sights we saw on the day trip to Niagara Falls - everything was amazing to see and do.

My absolute favourite was the Maid of the Mist. I wish there was more time at Niagara Falls as it seemed like we were always in a rush.

I did not highly regard the tour guide "Eddie" as he mumbled his way through the day so I didn't learn much at all. He was also very monotonous.

It was a good day and Niagara Falls are well worth seeing. The vineyard was excellent as was the lunch. The only drawback for this particular trip was the poor performance of the tour guide. He mumbled and basically left everyone to their own devices. He did not appear interested who was on the bus.

It was fun, but in the end Niagara Falls was too much of a city for me, I expected something like a small village next to it, and much nature. But what I got was a "bad Las Vegas"-Copy, too much tourism and such.
The bus was very nice, lether seats and nice driver and tour guide. The whine tasting was something like the highlight for me, sadly not the Niagara Falls.
All in all it was worth it, but like I already mentioned, I had much more of an idylic place in mind, than that much of a city, crowded with tourists.

This trip was excellent! We truly recommend it to anyone that has not gone to Niagara Falls. Our tour included wine tasting, lunch buffet at the Sheraton Hotel, and the maid of the mist experience, they were all wonderful. Just a tip for the maid of the mist, wear shorts and water shoes or sandals. You will definitely get your legs and feet wet. Our tour guide, Eddy was great, he talked to us about many historical sights and gave us tips on what to see and do. After the maid of the mist tour, we had the opportunity to pay for a Niagara Falls Helicopter Tour and we truly recommend doing that if you want to appreciate the natural beauty of the falls. Our tour also took us to Niagara on the Lake and that town is simply amazing and beautiful, it looks like a picture from a postcard. We only wished we had more time to spend on that town. Niagara on the Lake is a place to go visit again.

Great experience. Enough to see it all and pleasant drive with great information. Pick up, transportation, lunch, winery, and of course great visit in the boat to the Niagara Falls. Great tour for the price!

Doing what: Niagara Falls Evening Lights Day Trip from Toronto

Just like the other day trip to Niagara Falls that starts in the morning this one is about the Maid of the Myst and the dinner. There won't be enough time for anything else and the guide makes it very clear early on that the objective is to get the visitors in and out of Niagara Falls as quickly as possible. Everything seems rushed. The original itinerary distributed to us by a guide said the tour leaves Niagara Falls by 21:00, but the guide may cut it short by 30 min at his/er discretion. If you really want to spend time by the Falls and explore the surroundings at your own pace, better to get their on your own. Visiting winery is a waste of time.

As a first-time visitor to Niagara Falls, I found the bus trip was informative, interesting and relaxing. The falls were breath-taking. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone new to the area or wanting to visit the falls without the hassle of driving.
I was disappointed to find out that the fireworks show at Niagara Falls on Sunday evening is seasonal. I may have chosen the day time trip instead, had I known sooner. Otherwise, a wonderful day!

Great trip, the only downside is that it rained. Niagara Falls is perfect at night!
