Doing what: Valencia Walking Tour

excellent, felt like meeting friend in Valencia to show you around - it was just 3 of us in group and the lady showing us around was great :)

The Albufera park was just a slow boat ride in a lake, to see nature. Nothing more than that, we saw a couple of egrets and birds. Boat driver spoke only Spanish. If you have ever seen the Everglades in Florida it looks just like that. Trip was not worth the time, it is better to use your time in the city sights, if you are staying a short time.

Doing what: Valencia Walking Tour

The tour was very informative in that it helped me to know what was where (and how to get to them in a city with many narrow winding streets) but also in regards to the history of monuments, museums, government buildings, plazas, etc. I learned a great deal about current trends and age old traditions as well. Thank you, Beatrice! You are a phenomenal guide!!

The bus tour and aquarium were really good. The only problem, which was really annoying, was that when we presented our excursion ticket to the Hop on HOp off bus, he printed us two receipts and kept the Viator printout. We assumed the receipts/tickets he gave us were enough since it said right on it about the aquarium. When we got to the aquarium, the ticket booth said she had never heard of such thing. We had to ask her supervisor to use their internet to reprint our viator Vouchers. Wasted about an hour of our aquarium time to do this.

Valencia hop-on hop-off line is very long. Make sure what you want to see before you go. I suggest Viator providing hop-on hop-off maps BEFORE each excursion so we know what to expect. Also Hop-on hop-off should set up a desk right at the ship exit to answer the questions and give directions. The morning driver was really nice and helpful while the afternoon driver is rude and arrogant. He could understand English pretty well but refused to answer question if we couldn't speak Spanish or Italian to him. He put his one foot up next to the ticket box and checked his smart phone whenever he stopped while everyone on the bus had to wait. Albufera Natural Park Tour took a big chunk of the day and all we really saw was the rice field and sit on a 1/2 boat trip. Driver didn't speak any English so it's very difficult to communicate. We could have used that time to see more of Valencia.

Great way to see the sights of the city. Bus covered the fantastic stops.

Fine trip, enjoyed Valencia very much. Had difficulty finding bus stop 7 at the port. Wasn't close to where we came out from the ship. Apart from that all was fine.

Thanks again

Doing what: Valencia Shore Excursion: Valencia Hop-On Hop-Off Tour

Very good tour with clear commentary in English. Easy to find stops.

I hopped on and off quite a bit, wonderful.

For the price this tour did everything it should with the little time we had in port. We do recommend paying the $12 cab fare from the port to La Reina square - this will save you time and energy as the stop is extremely hard to find (we could not find it and none of the locals knew where it was either). There is always a bus waiting at La Reina so your day can begin right away.

Unfortunately the Valencia tour was the worst city tour I have taken. It lasted an hour and a half and there was nothing of intertest to see at all. Not one of our group, a party of 7, enjoyed it. None of the passengers on this tour got on or off during the entire trip. The stops seemed to be in the middle of nowhere and you certainly wouldn't want to wait at any of them for the next bus to come along. We took the red line tour and not the maritime blue line so I can't rate that one. The best part of the tour is actually the pretty little square with cafes and wine bars where you join it. We really needed that drink at the end of it!

Great way to visit a city i would say the best waysince you can stop when you want and this at a very good price! Wouls recommend.sue from montreal canada
