Doing what: Vancouver Trolley Hop-on Hop-off Tour
First time ever I tried a tour like this, all I can say is heh everyone out there sit back relax and enjoy. This is the way to get around attactions in a city without the stress of finding parking or waiting in traffic. We had a lot of differnt fellows as our tour bus driver and they were all different but all awesome. Next city vacation I go on I wll be using this bus system for sure.

Our City Tour was great. We had the best tour guide, Stephon (sp)? There was 6 of us and only one had been in Vancouver before. It was a perfect way to start our visit. We were only going to be in Vancouver 1 1/2 days and wanted to see it all and we did with this tour and the Vancouver Shore Excursion Pre- Cruise Tour the next day. Highly recommend!!

Through the drizzle, our tour guide (Rob, I think) gave one of the best tour talks ever. He was full of pertinent info, was adaptable, helpful, and humorous. Stanley Park, in particular, and his comments throughout it were so good - and we appreciated the chance to hop off the bus on occasion and take some photos. Since our on/off experience was the first thing we did when we got to the city, the tour through the downtown areas was very helpful in orienting us to the city - its layout and its sights. We ended up not using the on/off two-day opportunities since we were there for just parts of two days, but it was well worth it for our single tour. Cheers for Rob. Oh - another thing: I have trouble hearing and often have frustration hearing what's said in public situations like this; our guide spoke so clearly that I was alert to all the info. Again, thanks.

Very enjoyable experience. The drivers were all friendly, helpful and informative. Trolley pick-ups were dependable. Definitely recommend - great value!

Great way to get around the city though the trolley can fill quickly expecially on cruise days. Our driver on the first day was a great tour guide and easily answered any questions asked.

Just came home 2weeks ago from Vancouver. We used the hop on hop off Trolly. It was perfect to get around the the different areas of the city. The stops were convenient. We got on a few blocks from our hotel and got off in the evening at the same stop. Our trip included a ride on the Granville island ferry which was novel since we come from a big city and the boats only accommodated about a dozen passengers. We also took advantage of the observation deck included. Just the savings alone for the Trolly was incredible. One day we took the red line and one day the blue line . We got off at several destinations to enjoy the city sites. Your driver/ guides were very knowledgeable which made the experience even better. The only problem we encountered was that if you traveled the entire route , the seats tended to be too hard. My entire party of 4 enjoyed our visit to Vancouver and would recommend using VIATOR and the Hop on Hop off Trolly.

We were very pleased with our 2 day hop on/off tour of beautiful Vancouver. The guides were very friendly, informative and helpful. Our only criticism is of the location/map of the Bainbridge Island pickup area for going to the B trolleys. We had taken the ferry over from the A trolley and then taxied to lunch nearby. On returning and using YOUR map we could not find the pickup station for continuing on. The map is poorly drawn and doesn't say a thing about going under the bridge or what the cross streets would be. Thanks to some friendly locals and a few phone calls we found the trolley stop. Please update your map to be more specific! Overall we enjoyed the trolley tour very much and will recommend to our friends.

Drivers informative, funny...tours cover the neccesary tourist stops. Cool look of the buses - troleys. Could use an open top or even glass. Thanks for a good time.

Nice way to get a review of the city. The staff at Canada Place stop were friendly and helped change our vouchers into tickets. The drivers were friendly. The only problem we had was at Stanley Park. We were waiting close to the stop but the driver just drove by without barely slowing down. We were not the only couple waiting. So we had to wait another half hour. We did get to see more wildlife while waiting. Definitely better than driving.

Great ride, commentary was awesome(except for one accent we couldn't understand), good value for the $$, nice, friendly staff....Our only complaint was that we had a great deal of trouble finding where to get on the buses....The "bus stop" signs are so small, and not clearly visible. We were running all over in Stanley Park looking for them........Marilyn

We loved hopping off in Stanley Park at the salmon creek and walking to the totem poles. We also hopped off at Prospect Point and walked to the Tea House at Third Beach. The Public Market on Granville Island is a must. We enjoyed taking the False Creek Ferry from the West End, but we weren't given good directions and got lost for a while looking for the Island Market stop.
