A wonderful tour in every way. We travelled right up into the mountains near the Austrian border; the views were superb, the lunchtime stop very well chosen, and the small towns stopped at fascinating. Our guide/driver was excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

It was a small tour with 7 pax as promised. It was fairly quiet throughout the long drive and would have been better if the guide gave us more history on dolomites or even Italy in general. It was a gloomy and cold day. Regardless the scenery more than made up for it.

Lets be honest Italy, especially Venice, isn't a cheap date so make the most of it and go on this day out. We had superb sunny weather despite sub-zero temperatures and the views were fantastic. The guys who escorted us were genuinely nice people and keen to impart as much local knowledge as possible. Our party of four was teamed with a lovely American couple and we got on really well. The Minibus was comfortable and modern and we were given plenty of stops en-route to Cortina. The hotel chosen for our lunch was very nice and the menu extensive not expensive. The Dolomites and Cortina are stunning.

Carlos was a most wonderful guide! Although we had a cold rainy day, and we could not see the tops of the mountains because of the mist, my pictures are beautiful! Carlos spoke very good English, and was very specific about the details of the things we saw. He went out of his way, driving us up to the tops of the mountains close to Austria. He showed us frozen lakes, snow stacked up in the woods,the big dam, and some beautiful alpine villages. All in all it was a lovely day with a very good lunch, beautiful scenery.

It was nice to stop at Cortina and Piev and have a little time. There really isn't much to do once you get to the Dolomites like hiking, we only took picture perfect pics because the mountains had snow

This is a good get away day trip from Venice. A stop in Cortina to see all the full length mink coats parading around was not the small town experience i had envisioned, but it is part of Italy. The lunch stop is very near the country boarder, so skip the lasagna and go for the apple strudel.

Brilliant tour. Giovanni, our guide was the best. Nothing was too much trouble.
Even for November the weather was fantastic and the scenery was amazing. Would thoroughly recommend this tour for anyone.

A storm was coming in the day we booked our trip. Our ship was late in arriving and we were to thankful that Marco from Viator had waited for us. Considering the weather Marco had asked if it was alright with us to alter the tour a bit by taking us to the summit before the storm came in. We are so glad we did as the view was limited with the clouds hanging low but at least we were able to see and appreciate the beauty of this region. Marco was very considerate of us and made it a very enjoyable day despite the weather. Thank you Viator for offering such a great tour of the Dolomites.

This was an outstanding drive. Our driver was excellent and made numerous stops to allow us to get photographs and explain local history. The little restaurant where we stopped for lunch was exceptional. Unfortunately, being late October, there was already quite a bit of snow in the mountains and the private road for the last bit of our trip was closed due to snow. The snow covered scenic s and the mountain views more than made up for it. Anyone who wants to see a different side to Italy should look at this trip.

This tour was spectacular! Definitely a must on a trip to Venice. The tour guide Giovanni was knowledgeable and enthusiastic throughout. Very good small group tour.
