would have been lost in the maze that is venice without the use of this transport and guide. took us to within 100 yards of our hotel. would use them againé
This was not a good service in November when the departure terminal was not busy and the water taxi's were readily available. It is about 2 times the cost of a standard water taxi. The only reason to use it would be in VERY high season and you want to avoid a long wait. The persons from our cruise who used the standard taxi's got them sooner and spent half as much.

Excellent service, the guide met us as arranged on time. It was the best way to get to the port. We had watched the water taxi's during our Venice stay and thought it would be nice not realizing that the sleek wooden taxi's was to be our transport. Loved it would recommend this to everyone.

We booked and paid to be picked up directly from hotel. Even after hotel called to reconfirm our "so called" Meet and Greet person showed up and said the boat could not pick us up at the hotel so we had to drag our luggage through St. Mark's Square to the boat. Total waste of money.
The tour did not show up on time and I had the hotel followup for me. No one contacted me or the hotel stating the boat was not working. I had already paid for the fare. I wasn't about to incur more expense by taking another water taxi. So I had to wait for 45 minutes for another boat to come.
This is the only way to travel from the ship to our hotel. My wife and I never travel light. Even thought it wasn't cheap, I would recommend this to everyone. It really gave a great overview of that exciting city.

This was the best thing i did, i was a little concerned because we were off the ship earlier then expected and the guide was not there but she showed up at actually 9:30 which was the time I had put and it made it so much easier to get to our hotel. Thanks
Excellent service, hassle free
We received a notice that we were to meet our water taxi at the hotel dock. Our water taxi transfer was scheduled to depart at 11:30 and we were to be met at the hotel at 11:00. No one met us at 11:00, so we walked to where we had arrived 2 days earlier. Our hostess finally found us and said that we were at the wrong dock. Communication of whether we were to be met and where our departure location would be could have been better.
