Burano Lace Maker
A master glass shaper displays his finished work, a rearing stallion.
Burano. We found a green-grocer and ate grapes as walked in the quiet tourist free streets and lanes.
We bought a lovely lacy table cloth something that we have been looking for many years. Not too many fancy stitch-work but just right for our taste. Many places to photograph and many shops and trattorias.
French Fries and fried sausage bites

This is the beautiful chandelier hanging in the outdoor garden pavilion at the Murano Glass Factory, comprising handblown fruit, crystals and ornaments in stunning colors. This 'baby' had to be at least 4 feet long and 3 feet wide, and the ornaments look like gems!
These master glass blowers were amazing. In a brief demonstration you see this beautiful art come to life. The guide was funny too! The store with the glass pieces does not allow photographs, but it was certainly the most beautiful store I have ever seen. Why be in Venice and miss this?
