Excellent, Excellent, and Excellent---do take this trip. We really enjoyed it.

short and sweet, was great. worth the money

Don't do this trip! It was crowded, rushed, and the tour guide was rude. Admittedly she had to communicate everything 5 times over [the our was in 5 different languages] which must have been stressful, but she was very off-hand from the start. The microphone volume was cranked right up to compete with the boat engine noise [extreme - my son said he felt like his ears were bleeding by the trip end].
We got shuttled straight into a glass making demo which was fascinating but too brief, then into the showrooms where we had been told there would be discounts. The glass was much cheaper on the main island!
Torcello was peaceful and lovely but a 10 minute walk from the jetty to the village, leaving only 20 mins to see the museum and beautiful old church.
My time again? I'd take a ferry to these islands independently. They are definitely worth seeing, but you just don't need the experience we had!

This tour was ok. We were dropped off at Torcello and told to walk 8 minutes to the church. Once at the church, you turned around and walked back (with no explanation of what you just saw). On Murano we were whisked into a 10 minute glass blowing display and then quickly rushed out (as the next group was waiting) into their shop where 15 sales people pounced. We were then taken to Burano, famous for its lace, where again you were whisked into a small room for a demonstration. We decided to skip the demo and went into the village itself (about 2 minute walk). Lots of stalls and small shops selling souvenirs. I would probably visit these islands on my own as we bought a 72 hour boat pass for $38 euro each.

Very interesting!

Fun to see all the islands, but dont buy your glass at the first store you are taken to, it is much cheaper at the stores right next to it. Torcello was absolutely beautiful, check out the creepy statues in the garden!

Doing what: Murano, Burano and Torcello Half-Day Sightseeing Tour

A great deal to see and enjoyable trip. Not much time on each of the islands, perhaps the trip should be longer.

Doing what: Murano, Burano and Torcello Half-Day Sightseeing Tour

Good overview of these islands - interesting demonstration of the glass making on Murano and lace on Burano - our favourite was the cathedral on Torcello.

Though this was probably worth the money, we did find it very crowded and rushed. In the glass making demo we were crowded onto steps and around "cheek to cheek " as the guide said. Being at the back and not very tall I saw nothing. We had a quick look round then it was time to return to boat. The next stop of Torcello was a 5-10 minute walk from boat and after finding a loo which cost me 1.50 euro and a quick sandwich it was back on board. The final stop at Burano was a bit more relaxed and a pretty place to stop. The guide went over all the details en route in 5 different languages which was a bit irritating in the end and at the beginning her pa system was playing up so we missed quite a bit of her information, although it was obvious she was well informed. She did suggest talking to her with any questions when we docked but with all the rushing that would have been impossible. I would mention that as it was so full before we started, one young couple actually left and I do wonder what happened to them.

Nice trip to see the other islands of Venice.

An excellent way to see the other islands in the Venetian lagoon. Booking online through Viator saved us money off the local price for the same tour (about $10 each saved). Boat was comfortable, the guide spoke English, Italian, French, Spanish and German. She was fantastic. Glass blowing demo was amazing and lots of opportunity to explore away from the group on all 3 islands. Highly recommended.

Doing what: Murano, Burano and Torcello Half-Day Sightseeing Tour

It is a great tour, the split among the islands is ok, but the Murano factory was a shame, previously I was in an other factory it was much better!
