Amazing tour and a must for any visitor to this area. The tour guide Daniel was excellent, had very good English and was very knowledgeable - we had plenty of photo stops along the way.
I would definitely recommend this tour.
Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The trip went through lovely towns and I liked that there were only 8 people, which allowed some flexibility. It was a pleasure to get out of the crowds in Venice and see something of the countryside. Of course, tasting wine is always a pleasure, and there were affordable bottles to purchase also at the vineyard.
The tour to the Dolomite Mountains was great even though we had mechanical problems with the van. We really didn't like sitting backwards in the van and wished there had been a window sun roof so we could see more of the mountains. The driver was good and took good care of us.
It was great if we could register number six we would've
Tour guide was knowledgeable and personable. Trip provided interesting locations. A very good value.
The group was of 8 people which was great as it was comfortable in a 4x4 car plus evenly paced. The scenery is amazing and shows a side of Italy which one does not expect, being close to the Austrian border.
Our guide Fabrizio was took us to great locations. Have a look at the weather before you travel, as we had rain in the early part of the morning and then it cleared up. Carry a thick jacket as it can get cold once you ascend the higher mountains.
Despite a little rain, the trip was fantastic. We would highly recommend it!
Excellent thoroughly recommend.
Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful! If you have more than one day on Venice, this is the tour to take. Use this tour to get out of the Venice city center, and go enjoy the countryside. Wide open spaces, fresh air, and majestic mountains! The tour group was small so we had plenty of time to explore each town, enjoy the local sites, have lunch, and just take in the peace and serenity of our surroundings! A must do tour!
Best pasta I had on this trip was in a local restaurant during this trip. The small group size is perfect! and even thought it was so cloudy we couldn't actually see the Dolomites we had an amazing day. Our guide stopped by little mountain towns, and this was well worth the whole day trip.
Giovanni was absolutely stellar! We loved this tour and it was the highlight of our trip to Venice. He made the history come alive through his knowledge but he was also charming and funny. I would highly recommend this tour!
This was a fantastic tour. Our driver and guide was very good. The scenery was magnificent.
We just loved every thing about this tour. The weather was fine and warm, the Guide and coach driver were amazing nothing was any trouble and their experience made our tour so enjoyable. We felt the tour was very good value.
Even though the weather was bad, the tour was still wonderful. Roberto was our tour guide and he was fabulous. The weather did clear a bit and we did get some wonderful views of the Dolomite mountains.
I would definitely recommend this tour.
An excellent full day trip transported in a smart private mini van. Our tour guide and driver Justin was brilliant, helpful and really just a nice guy. We saw some wonderful scenery and drove high in to the Dolomites. A good value trip for those staying in Venice for a week as it just adds a different dimension to the holiday.
One tip, the meeting point is the Tronchello main tourist stop on vapperetto 2 not the Tronchello Marcado allow enough time to get here from Venice for us it was a 35 min Vapperetto 1 from Giglio to Plaza Roma then hop on to the Vapperetto 2 to the Tronchello about 5 mins. Vapperetto time tables can be found on http://www.actv.it/.
Wonderful! The the country side, the towns, the places, the events and of course, our guide Marco were expectantly perfect. What a great day!
We were met at the Tronchetto stop by our friendly guide. OUr van was full with friendly folks. Outstanding tours, friendly guide, relaxing pace, delicious lunch, and just a wonderful time. It was so nice to get out of Venice and see the real Italy. Highlights were the grappa museum, lunch in Asolo, and the villa. HIghly recommended.
outstanding..... long trip, prepare accordignly.
This tour was amazing such natural beauty a must see in my opinion
Fantastic trip out of the insanely busy Venice streets. great change of pace and saw some of the most beautiful scenery. highly recommend.
best trip ever!! beautiful views, plenty of stops along the way to see the mountains. driver Danial was very informative and polite !! i would recommend this to anyone who has not seen the Dolomites
Great tour. Lots of fun. I would have liked to have spent a bit more time at some of the spots such as Titian's birthplace but that's not really possible if you want to make it all the way up to the Dolomites. Perhaps a longer tour would have been better. But the tour was great and the guide was friendly and knowledgable. Definitely recommend it.
We really had a wonderful tour. The guide was a real gentleman and took great care of us. We loved these small towns and their history. I recommend to everyone to take this tour especially if you are a wine lover.
I have taken tours on four different continents in many different countries. This has been my favorite to date. I highly recommend.
Daniel, our driver and guide was excellent. The villages provided quite a variety of experiences for our group. For me the group lunch in Asolo was the highlight.
