You have to do this when in Venice. We were lucky enough to have the serenade on our gondola. We were the envy of the other gondolas in the group ride. This experience was better that I ever expected it to be. One of the highlights of our time in Venice.

The highlight of our visit to Venice! There is no better way to enjoy Venice! We were serenaded by an excellent singer who when told we had celebrated our 40 th anniversary dedicated a song to us! We had a fantastic time despite the light drizzle that began to fall! We would definitely do it again!

Venice tour will not be completed without a Gondole ride. We were lucky that the Serenade was on our Gondola and the experience was indeed fantastic. However, the dinner was only acceptable. In fact, we were the only diners in that restaurant which by the way was difficult to find.

Having read many reviews prior to our trip, our gondola ride and serenade was just what we expected. We were especially pleased that we were seated together and thoroughly enjoyed the music. The singer did a wonderful job and new he was to be shared among the many gondolas on our specific tour.

Rushed and a very short journey literally round one square of Canal from the gondola;s start point, Unable to hear the Serenade for most of the time.
we only actually heard 2 songs,
Luckily a couple proposed in our Gondola and Guys and Girls that was a very romantic gesture we wish then all the best. and wish the couple from New Zealand all the best too.

We were disappointed in the overall seating arragements for four passengers unlike this picture, my hunband and I were seperated, and had to share our serenade ride with five other Gondolas.

Although, this is my 3rd time doing this tour I never get tired of it. What a great way to experience some of Venice's history. Our gondolier was great. The older man that serenaded us had an amazing voice.

The gondola ride itself was amazing - a true highlight of Venice. And while we thought going into it that iit might be cheesy having a singer and an accordion player along, I must confess that was somewhat magical: those sounds echoing off the narrow, ancient walls as we wended our way through the canals.
We do have one criticism. There was zero personalization for the tour. No one greeted us (they merely took our vouchers). The gondolier didn't introduce himself. We weren't introduced to the two other couples in our boat. We didn't get to meet the musicians (they were in the next boat). We were just ushered into a boat and away we went. So that aspect felt highly impersonal and a real turnoff. Still, the ride and serenade were lovely.

Thoroughly enjoyed this trip, and the serenade bit was the icing on the cake on our first visit to Venice. Also pre booking in the UK took the hassle out of having to haggle a price when we got to Venice which would have taken some of the magic away from the gondola ride. Would recommend, we thought it was fabulous.

This was beautiful. The city, Gondola ride with the serenade and the experience all made this trip the best proposal i could give to my girlfriend. I proposed on the gondola ride and she said yes. she loved every moment of the experience and she couldn't stop crying. Thank you for a wonderful timex

Excellent! We had an evening serenade and it was so beautiful! I would highly recommend this tour and If I was to return to Venice I would book myself in again.

fantastic night. the singer had a great voice and serenaded us for 40 minutes. the restaraunt was a little difficult to find, but we were made welcome and the food was excellent. the gondola ride could be a little longer, perhaps.
