Doing what: Venice Gondola Ride and Serenade
Amazing - viator hooks you up with a guy who serenades you as your taking the trip. Breathtaking way of seeing Venice - shouldve proposed to my girlfriend because she Loved me 10x more after I took her on this ride.

Doing what: Venice Gondola Ride and Serenade
This was our final tour of a two week vacation and it was the perfect way to end it. My family of 7 was able to relax and enjoy their final hours of vacation and Venice while being serenaded and floated down the canals of this beautiful city. We will never forget it.

Doing what: Venice Gondola Ride and Serenade with Dinner
Started out rather slow until we assembled a number of boats together and floated in the canal for quite some time. Seemed like too many boats were sharing the same serenader. Yet we really enjoyed rowing through the smaller canals and hearing al fresco diners above the canals cheer and clap as we floated by. Overall it was fun.

Doing what: Private Tour: Venice Gondola Ride with Serenade
If I could give this tour 0 stars I would! I'm in the travel industry and I booked 4 tours with Viatur which were OUTSTANDING, however this tour was not! I had taken a Gondola Ride before but my family never had so I gulped hard and paid the insane price for this tour thinking it would be a once in a lifetime experience for them and the Serenade would make the price a little less painful! Boy was I wrong! We were shuffled into a Gondola after having to wait for a pushy tour group of about 60 people to get on theirs well after our appointment time. The canal was over-packed which isn't their fault, however our Gondolier spend the WHOLE time talking to the Gondolier next to us and never Serenaded us! He didn't even hum! If we had wanted the "shared" tour without a serenade I would have paid for that tour (much less)! I'm not one to complain at all, however be aware when booking this that you may have better luck finding your own gondola down a back canal (which I had thought of doing but didn't want to risk having a bad experience) instead of paying this insane amount for a sub-par experience! Viator needs to be aware of this for the price they charge...maybe switch companies they work with?

Doing what: Venice Gondola Ride and Serenade with Dinner
Very disappointing, could have got a gondola ride much cheaper. We left about half an hour late and a group of 6 gondolas travelled together and the serenader was in one of the boats with a loud speaker so everyone could hear. Not what we expected, but it was ok. We travelled very slowly so we didnt cover much ground. After getting off we asked where dinner was, only 1 person appeared to speak English and he vaguely pointed in the direction. We couldnt find the restaurant so had to go back to the gondolas and ask again. He was still very vague and not interested in helping us. By this stage it was dark and the small streets were poorly lit, we asked other people but nobody knew where the restaurant was so we had to forfeit the meal and pay for dinner ourselves somewhere else.
Due to the unhelpful staff and difficulty locating the restaurant I would not recomment this tour.

Doing what: Venice Gondola Ride and Serenade with Dinner
I was very disappointed. We were taken out in a Gondola with 4 other boats into the middle of the water and we all just sat there while we were serenaded. That lasted about 10-15 minutes, we were then taken around one block and brought back to where we started and just dumped off. I had to ask several people where dinner was served and finally found someone who told me the name of the restaurant about a place 5-6 blocks away. The food was ok, nothing special and it had a very limited menu. We had to pay for water. The place was hidden on a side street and the only people in the place were people from the Gondoloa.

Gondola ride was ok, but would definately not share with others next time. We sat in the same spot for most of the time listening to the serenade so would not bother with this either. The dinner was absolutely brilliant and would advise anyone to dine there, if we had longer we would have went back. The meal makes it well worth the money!

The gondola itself was beautiful. The location was hated to find and quite a long walk from st. Mark's square. The serenade was lovely except hard to hear because the music singer and accordionist was in the first boat and we were in the last boat. The music should be in the middle gondola. Overall we enjoyed the ride and would recommend it.

enjoyed the experiennce, only moan i have is we arrived half an hour before as not sure where it was, first people there, a couple wandered along 5mins before due to go to ask a price told them for 40euros they could come witth us, as we were going to get on gondola ,he decided he needed to photo copy our voucher ,so we ended up on stools while they got the best seat, the serenade was lovely and made it enjoyable, the meal was nice but i dont thimk worth what we paid ,

The experience is a must, but we were disappointed as we had booked a serenaded ride and the "serenade" was shared between 7 gondolas. If we had known that we still would have done it but just annoyed that it was not stated.

the ride on the grand canal was not a ride . We went on it and sat there without moving listening to the serenade. end then we went on the small canal . Would have been better if we would have seen some of the grand canal view . But this was goog. Another anoying thing is that we arrvive early to get a good spot on the gondola since the first 2 of each gondola have the best seat . since each gondola have 6 spots, the number 8-9 person in the line get a better spot than the numer 3-4 or 5-6 and so on... would be good to fill the best spot with the first person and then the rest .

GONDOLA TRIP WAS OK, EXCEPT WE COULDN'T HEAR THE SERENADE FOR OUR OARSMENS SHOUTING TO EACH OTHER. WE FOUND IT IT WAS A LITTLE DISORGANISED. WHEN THE GONDOLAT TRIP WAS OVER, THEY HAVE TO GIVE YOU A VOUCHER TO GET YOUR MEAL AT THE RESTAURANT. WE HAD TO WAIT AGES FOR IT. THEY DIDN'T SEEM TO KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING, WE HAD TO ASK FOR DIRECTIONS TO THE RESTAURANT, WHICH WASN'T EASY TO FIND AND THEY DIDN'T SEEM TOO SURE OF WHERE IT WAS. HOWEVER, MEAL AND SERVICE AT THE RESTAURANT WAS VERY GOOD,

The Gondoloa ride and Serenade was very nice and up to our expectations. After the gondola ride, we were told we had to walk to dinner and pointed us in the direction of the opera house. There was no map or written
instructions. We got lost so we went back to the Gondola Co. to ask for better directions and the man would not speak to us. He was very
rude. We had to just keep asking directions and we finally found the restaurant. The restaurant was great, food very good,7 treated us very well . It was a very nice evening except for the rudeness and lack of directions getting to the restaurant.
