I loved the Gondola ride and we were lucky enough to be in the gondola that the serenaders were in. Everyone along the canals was stopping to listen to the music as we went by and smiling and waving at us.

Serenade was great as was the Gondola ride itself. The food at the restaurant was really good, the service was friendly and timely. I would certainly recommend this to friends.

Gondola ride and serenade was fantastic, bit dissappointed with the resturant and the food, also the resturant was quite difficult to find once we came from the gondola ride, we had to ask for directions, ,suggest perhaps more attention could be paid to escort clients to the resturant instead of leaving them to there own devices as such, you could easily get lost and not find the resturant at all.

The gondola ride was exciting however the disappointment for us that we thought we were going to be on the gondola ourselves however were hoarded onto it with 4 others and we had separate seats which didn't allow for a nice photo- the serenade was amazing!

What would a trip to Venice be without a gondola ride? Well this one would have been better had our gondolier had a little personality. We did enjoy the other couples on the ride. The serenade from one of the other gondolas in our group was great!

Wasn't too great, when it mentions Serenade, should of mentioned it wasn't on your boat but with about 20 other boats - the Grand Canal part was only 5 mins then back. Wastn't the best trip I have booked.

You are much better off getting an individual gondola. This 10 gondola trip is not good. Also, the one musician that was on one of the gondola's could not even be heard in our gondola most of the time. The option with the serenade cost a lot more and we received no benefit for the extra cost. DON'T DO THIS ONE!!!

OK, i want to start by saying that we had fun on the gondola ride, but there is some facts we weren't aware of 1) you can be clubbed together with 7/8 boats and just 1 serenader 2) you may have to sit opposite each other rather than together 3) You may have to share with crying kids and groups of lads. Thankfully we got the 'good' seats and shared with 2 other nice couples but others weren't so lucky. We got dropped back at the dock and walked to restaurant, this was a real let down. As soon as they knew we were the Viator people they tried to shoehorn us to their outside plastic tables, we politely refused and the waiter just continued to treat us with disdain, commenting on the fact we did not want water, that we choose the house wine (as opposed to their v. expensive bottles) we had to choose off the 20E specials menu. All in all, the choice and Food was average, the service rude and unacceptable and to top it off they slapped a hefty service charge on top. Take our advice, scrap the dinner (there are too many good restaurants to waste your time here) and save up to book a private Gondola ride for yourself.

Lovely way to end our stay in Venice. We did this at 7:30pm to take advantage of the sunset and evening lights. The dock was an easy walk from our hotel, and we were efficiently loaded on and on our way in a timely manner. Our gondola was just one in a flotilla of several, one of which held our master serenader. He had a magnificent voice which echoed off the walls throughout the canals. Locals came to their windows to listen, and wave as we floated by. One thing to note, this is not a private gondola. We were with 2 other couples, but still it was romantic. My husband would have liked if it was just the two of us, and I think there may be a Viator for that, or you can book on your own when in Venice, but really, this was very enjoyable.

No need to book in advance. There were TONs of gondoliers. We were very heavy on one side so spent an uncomfortable ride leaning on way! Nice serenade (one singer for 5 gondola;s which was fine). Our gondolier never said a word. Felt very impersonal.

It was a nice tour through the island. Of course we chose a cold and rainy day to go. I wouldn't recommend this tour in the early Spring as its cold on the water. I did enjoy the serenade and the tour.

The Gondola ride and serenade was one of the many highlights of Venice. The singer was of exceptional quality, his operatic voice carried through the canals. would highly recommend.
