Shopping in Venice

Shopping in Venice

Let’s face it; when you think of Venice, you probably think of canals more than anything else. And when you think of shopping in Italy, you likely imagine spending time in the outlets and boutiques of Florence and Milan. However, Venice has been a shopping center for hundreds of years, and you can find high fashion here as well.

Venice’s most store-filled shopping streets are the Mercerie and the Calle Dei Fabbri. These are home to stores selling a variety of goods, and if you’re interested in unique souvenirs, you’ll want to visit these neighborhoods. Along with the glass and masks that are iconic to Venice, you can also check out some hand-made paper stores.
