This trip was excellent value for money. The guide was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. It gave us a taste of the life on each of the islands. On future trips we can now go back to visit for a little longer. Recommend this trip to anyone.
I really enjoyed the tour. I was very impressed with the glass blowing factory.
Our tour guide, Frederica, was knowledgeable, enthusiastic , and VERY patient. Some of our group lagged behind and she gently but firmly moved them along but at the same time continued to inform the rest of us
Good value for the money. A bit rushed but it did Dover a lot of ground. Not really enough time to really check out murano glass but you can take the water bus back for cheap and spend as much time as you want later.
We had a spectacular morning, the islands were well worth the visit.
Great value for money, we managed to cover a lot of ground. Though I must admit that the glass blowing demonstration was just 10-15 mins and a quick demonstration for a whole crowd of people. So was the case with the lace making. But if you use the opportunity to make a quick round of the islands, its a good experience.
This was a terrific tour. The guide was really passionate about her tour. We enjoyed each location enjoyed the tastings and enjoyed the wine. We walked through the Jewish Ghetto which was very interesting and again the guide was very passionate about the history.
We all enjoyed our day touring the surrounding areas of Venice.
Really fun and quick tour for people that just wanna see what's what.
Beautiful tours, stops were short, not enough time to leisurely stroll the villages.
Very nice little tour. Easy walking and very interesting history and food etc.
Very nice tour, numbers a bit high for the size of the rooms you are in for demonstrations etc. Unfortunately it was raining quite heavily at times on our tour. Also advertised as an English speaking tour, but it was also delivered in Spanish I think?
The boat pier was easy enough to find and the tour left on time. I had not read the info carefully enough, and thought a half day tour leaving at 9:30 would get me back to Venice about 12:30, however the tour is actually 4 hours 30 mins, so we didn't get back til 2pm. As I was on a cruise ship departing later that day, I then had a less time to wander that I thought. Not Viatour's fault, but travellers on a short time frame need to be aware of this. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour, and the commentary was easy to understand and informative
excellent value for money, short time at each stop gave the chance to see if it was worth revisiting for a longer
period of time
Very nice trip but i suggest to increase the time in borano
This was a fun tour, through a part of town most tourists won't see. Beautiful and engaging, we learned a lot and sampled yummy cicchetti and wine as we went. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see a little more of the real Venice.
We enjoyed the tour, just wish we had more time to explore each island
Was so excited about this trip, mostly for the trip to Murano to see the glass blowing, after 5 mins the demo was over and we were sent into the show room and shop for the rest of the time, very disappointing!
However the rest of the trip to Burano was fabulous , the houses are gorgeous with all the bright colours , the food was beautiful and some gorgeous shop to wander around in, and Torcello was stunning, quiet lovely to walk around and great food and a stunning garden to sit outside and have a drink , gelato is great in both places!
Tour was good but felt there wasn't enough time at each of the places. Tour should cater to those with walking difficulties as well. The coach was parked too far away hence a long walk to and fro.
Good guide with some interesting information. A little of which had already been dealt with on previous tours.
Small group of four enabled us to interact well with the guide and ask our own questions. We went off the beaten track to some interesting sites.
Doing what: Hidden Venice Walking Tour by Night
Needed more time in Torcello. Burano was excellent
Was a good way to see the islands and get away form the crowds but Torcello Island was a waste of time - would have been better to spend more time on Murano and Burano and cut the third island out. The reason we went on this tour was to buy Glassware and Lace but we didn't really get much time to shop. Because the tour covered 4 different languages the Tour Guide commentary was a bit annoying - it would have been better if we had head-sets and could select our language instead of having to listen through a lot that we didn't understand and we had to really pay attention to when she got to English.
Nice way to spend Half a day, a little disappointed with Murano Glass
If you don't have a lot of time, this is a great tour to see all 3 islands. However - you spend the same amount of time at each island and there is not a lot to do on Tarcello.
Hoping for more info about the islands and industry. The guide was not as informative as expected. It seemed they were hurried in their presentation as compared to other tours we have taken
