Venice is a real expierence, which starts with the water bus ride from the aiport. After that you travel everywere on the water, beware the private water taxi's though they along with the Gondola's can be expensive. St Marks square is busy, but a must see, epecially when the whole square floods during the day. Walking round the narrow street along side canals and over the many bridges is something not to be missed.
Lots of good eating places, the back street cafes offer the best value and food as well. We would definatley return.
