If you want to go to the Palace of Versailles this is the best way to do it! The lines to get into the Palace have to be seen to be believed! I have no idea how long it would take to get in if you just turned up- it looked like many hours. On this tour you could simply hop off train walk across the road to the tour operators office and they walk you down to the Palace where the very knowledgeable guide firstly takes you around the extensive gardens to show you how to get around them and explains the history before she takes you inside the Palace and again provided an excellent historical run down of the palace. After about four hours the guide then leaves you to do your own exploring in the afternoon, which was fine for us as there were so much to explore we were happy to do that by ourselves. Highly recommend.

Our guide was very knowledgeable, articulate in English, and made history and the Museum come alive. I would recommend the tour as the only way to do to visit the Versailles.

Versailles is a zoo! I felt like I was in Times Square on New Years Eve. Without our wonderful and very informative guide I probably would have skipped the whole thing. It was great to walk past the throngs of people and walk through the door with this lovely woman who was carefully looking after the nine of us. We decided to find our own way to Versailles from Paris, Our hotel underestimated the trip by almost an hour. We were a half hour late. The people at the tour company were wonderful, whisking us to the counter, getting us in the next English speaking tour, and back on schedule in a flash. Great customer service. I would highly reccomend this tour and company.

Versailles was incredible! The Skip the Line part of the day, under the amazing guidance of our guide Pauline, was exceptional! while skipping the lines is always a lot of fun, Pauline's knowledge of the property and history made this an unforgettable tour. She even had suggestions for the part of the tour that was not guided in the pm (as in which fountains to make sure we saw, etc.). I would definitively recommend this guided tour to my friends. Un gros merci Pauline pour avoir fait de cette journée une journée inoubliable!

The tour was very good! Our guide was Elizabeth and she was excellent. Her English was good and her knowledge and presentation was outstanding. She enjoyed what she was doing, which was evident to us. The tour covered a large part of Versailles and we stayed afterward to wander the gardens. I highly recommend this tour! Its a 5.

Guide was excellent and informative. She readily answered a wide range of questions. Group size was perfect (not too big, not too small). I bought the tickets to 'skip the line' (we had to come on a Sunday) and that made it worth the cost of the tickets. Tour operator was flexible when we had some issues with timing. All in all, excellent tour well worth the cost.

It was well worth it. We were on Vacation and only had a few days in Paris and it was so convenient for us to get to the Location where the tour starts. Right in front of the Tube Station. We didnt have to wait for any lines. We also had enough time to walk around the premises after our tour was done. We didnt need to much time after since the Tour guide took us all over the Palace and Was very informative and friendly. Well worth the Money and time. Thanks

We had a great day at Versailles, it is a truly place and there is so much to see. Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. I was a little concerned about getting out there from Paris but it was really easy on the RER train. I thoroughly recommend this trip as something not to be missed.

The best part of the trip was the "skip the line part." However, that is NOT to say that the tour itself wasn't also great, Everything about the tour, and our guide, was everything one could hope. This trip was the first time we used Viator, and we will definately use them again.

This tour is an 8 person personal guided tour. There is a short walk from the train station to the tour office, just across the street, and a 10 minute walk to the palace. The entry process was very smooth through a separate entrance for guided tours. Our guide provided a personal radio for each of us so she could talk with us throughout the tour without shouting in the middle of the crowds. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable about French history, culture, the palace and gardens. She even shared some relevant humorous anecdotes about historical French culture and living styles. The guided tour is only a couple of hours through the main palace rooms and main garden area. You are then free to go through the palace and gardens at your own pace. This was a very nice way to see Versailles during the busy season in early May.
