Doing what: Skip the Line: Versailles Half-Day Tour
Tour was excellent. Directions to meet tour guide where wrong. Viator info said meet guide in front of Railroad station. Wrong. Needed to cross street and find tour operator office and meet guide inside there.

This was a fascinating tour. Well worth seeing and great to hear the interesting history of the place from our guide.

Doing what: Skip the Line: Versailles Half-Day Tour
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and nice - answered questions with no problem and we did not feel like we were being rushed! Would very much recommend. The office is right across the street from the train station so easy to get to and Versailles only a five minute walk away. Totally worth doing to learn the rich history behind such a beautiful palace!

The gardens were amazing even in Dec. we had a very small group so we did not have head phones to hear the guide until we got inside but even with a small group it would have been nice to have heard it all.

Doing what: Skip the Line: Versailles Full-Day Tour
The guide knew a lot about all things we saw. The only thing is I wish we went to more rooms because it was a full day tour rather than a couple of hours and then going on your own. Other than that our guide, I believe her name was Marion, was great and Versailles was breathtaking.

We had a good guide and a small group. Our guide was knowledgeable. The crowd wasn't too extensive so we were able to actually see Versailles which isn't the case when the crowds are bad.

This is a good tour which we found enjoyable. As it was November we only had 6 people on our tour but I believe they can have up to 30 in summer. we were fitted with ear pieces to make hearing the guide easy even in a large group.

Our tour guide Elisabeth was excellent. She was so knowledgeable about the palace and gardens, it was worth going with a tour instead of roaming around on your own.

We were late, but could still catch the group. Thank you for that. The guide was very good and Versailles is a must if in Paris. Good value for money, the office is not that easy to find, if you do not check it before leaving.......

Tour Guide was excellent, office staff was helpful, facility up to expectations. Only thing I didn't like was walk from your office. I'm used to taking larger tours where you are dropped off in front of a facility. LIke to save my walking for the place I'm visiting.

Tour was everything I expected and more especially after my unscheduled "TRIP " before my party turned the corner to the palace. Having personalised verbal tour ensured that nothing of importance was missed. Our guide Aurora was excellent and tn my case very caring. The tour to all palaces and gardens needs a full day tour. This was my 1st introduction to Vtator and I would recommend them to others

Doing what: Versailles Gardens Ticket: Summer Opening Fountains Show
Amazing place; too large to walk, best to rent golf cart for 30 euro for 1 hour.
Bring ganja to make it more surreal.

Doing what: Skip the Line: Versailles Full-Day Tour
This tour was just as expected. Very nice and knowledgeable staff, just the right amount of information while on the tour. I would like, however, to make a suggestion that Viator could share with all of your customers. After our tour, we chose to rent bikes from the bike rental at the beginning of the Grand Canal. We advised them that we wished to visit Marie Antoinette's hamlet and intended to ride the bikes there. We were told that there were not enough bike locks but that we could just park them in the bike spot and if our bikes were gone to take another bike upon exiting. There were no assigned bikes and not contract to sign. Well sure enough two of the three bikes were gone and another couple had the same problem and they took two other bikes so we could only ride one bike and my two friends had to walk the long walk back. Upon returning to explain what happened, the same worker said she needed to call her manager. To make a long story short, it was quite an ordeal to get my driver's license back and we were yelled at and threatened in public. We started to walk away and the manager followed us telling us he was calling the police if we didn't pay for the two missing bikes. His employee lied and said she never advised us that we could park the bikes without locks. He told us to stay and wait for the police and we did not - we left in a hurry to avoid a bad situation. They were trying to intimidate us and make some extra money. DO NOT RENT BIKES. PERIOD. 4-star rating was for the tour, NOT the bike rental!
