I booked this by mistake. I wanted a guided tour. This one is a self-guided audio tour. The package does include transportation from your hotel. The driver was very entertaining and on time. Versailles isn't bad either.

Giverny was terrific and the lunch was wonderful. Versailes wasn't. there was something wrong with your reservations beause only people with families went in first, the rest of us had to wait well over an hour so one guide took us to the gardens until we could get inside the palace.The palace was so crowded we actually lost our guide for a while.
I can't imagine any reason why our reservations were not accepted when we got there. Other tours had no problem.
Needless to say it kind of ruined our day.

Good trip however bus had no identification as advised it would so difficulty establishing it was our bus. Alexi (our Viator guide just new and learning the ropes). Advised to meet at Italian restaurant at the end but turned out there were two. Not clear instruction. Versailles guide replacement as designated guide didn't show was amazing. Worth doing but very expensive.

The tour was great but we were a group of 10, 5 adults and 5 children. The guide did not know how to talk to the children and engage them in the tour.

The driver turned up unacceptably late. The guide at versailles also left us waiting for another hour and then abandoned us for another group (who spoke French). Thoroughly unacceptable

Tour guide was good, but this tour is simply not worth what you pay for it. Your basically paying for a taxi ride to and from Versaille as they just drop you off there to be on your own. Tickets for Versaille cost a fraction of the amount of the tour, and the line wasn't long anyways. Your better off just getting a taxi and buying tickets yourself to Versaille and eating a great lunch/dinner and still saving money over this tour.

I was so disappointed with this tour, particularly given the incredibly high price. The tour promised a fluent English-speaking guide at Versailles, but instead we had to deal with 2+ hours of a poor woman struggling through broken English. It was incredibly difficult to understand what she was saying, and given that so much of the tour involved her speaking, I easily grew restless and bored. I also felt that the tour itself was disorganized, there was quite a bit of waiting around before and after the guided tour bit. The only thing that met my expectations on this tour was being able to go behind the ropes to see the royal quarters- that was very cool. But at the price, and with the annoyance of having to deal with a disorganized tour group and a Versailles guide who was struggling with her English the entire time, I definitely do not recommend.

Pick up was OK. But the return was frustrating although I made it on time. The driver could have given more specific information about the departing spot. He only pointed out the hotel and told us that we were to meet there. He did not give us a name of the hotel. I was lost and wasted 20 minutes looking around, Eventually, I went to the Versailles Information Center where they gave me the name of the hotel and the directions. It was good that they are familiar with the company's name and pick up spot or else I would have missed the return ride.

The best thing about this tour was the lunch stop. It was in the country, next to a river and water wheel. The (included) food was actually quite good. The guide was not. He spoke Franglish, (which is worse than the Frenglish the second guide spoke). He talked softly and swallowed his words. He had no clue about projecting his voice, or even facing his audience at Giverny. He would drone out dates and names in a monotone. At Versailles he used a microphone so at least he was audible. The palace is a mob scene, and this wasn't even the height of the tourist season.

Our tour guide was informative, kind ,and personal. We were transported to/from our hotel which made the trip more enjoyable.It was a great experience. The highlight of our Paris stay. We would recommend this tour company to anyone.

Our guide was so helpful and knowledgeable. Her English was very good and she was able to answer every question we had for her. Very interesting.
A friend mentioned a carriage museum at Versailles which I was sorry to have missed but it is a long day as it is

Ended up being half day tour as snow from previous day closed access to gardens and Marie Antoinette's chambers. The tour handling informed us promptly and gave us a credit per person for the cancelled portion of the tour. The tour guide was very informative and kept asking if we had any questions
