If you liked Napoleon's apartments in the Louvre, you'll love The PaV! Sweeping gardens are impressive and the French have done a decent job reaquiring some of the auctioned (pretty much everything was auctioned to pay for the revolution) furniture. Definitely worth a half day.

1day visit. Overall speaking, the guide did his job, transported us to the site and delivered briefing to each room visited. However, I had expected deeper explanation. Otherwise, I could just read the illustration boards placed in each room. If guide more knowledgable, the tour could win 5 stars.

We are picked up promptly from our hotel and our guide was very informative about the various Kings who had lived at Versailles etc and the history at the time of the revolution etc on our drive to Versailles - the trip was good value for money and I will definitely go back during the summer sometime to see the fountains and do the whole day guided tour of the private apartments - it was amazing

Excellent day. Chris our driver and guide was first class and very helpfull in many ways. Particularly arranging for two of the party to be picked up by a taxi at Versailles in order to catch their boat which was unable to reach the arranged rendervous owing to height of the water in the river Seine.

Unfortunately though, in winter don't expect the gardens to be at their best, as winter is when they do maintenance and cover up most statues... But as this cant be helped I would still suggest going on this tour as it was very good!

Our tour was great. The driver dropped us off at the side entrance near the entrance. We didn't have to wait in line for tickets for an hour like we did 3 years ago and we walked right in. It also included the audio guide. Thanks so much. Nancy

I cannot imagine what it will be if I did not book this tour. Versailles is so big and just stunning. We had two guides (1 explained the main part of Versailles and the other one explained the gardens and private palace) We had a lot of walking and still felt a bit rush. The tour was very helpful.

The tour guide, Anne was very good. Her explanation of the history of the palace, how the king and queen once live their live was very humourous. My family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed the tour. I strongly recommend anyone who is planning to join the tour.

The gardens were not in full bloom as it was winter but a trip to Versaille was still well worth It. The palace is amazing and our tour guide was great. He was a young, blonde French man who was great to listen to because he really understood and loved the era and stories of the French Revolution.

Loved the small group and personal pick-up from hotel. Would of been nice if a tour guide was included within Versailles. Maybe another half hr would be better than just the 2 hours there. Felt a little rushed. But overall still recommended.
