Doing what: Versailles and Giverny Day Trip
This was a wonderful trip we first went to Giverny which was beautiful and very interesting to see. We then were taken to a lovely restaurant out in the countryside and the food was great. We then went off to Versailles and I would say that we could have spent a lot more time here, there is just so much to see. The tour guide could go in this place with us and she was very knowledgeable about the history and the furnishing and what is original and what is recreated. By the time we were done in the inside we only had 30 minutes to explore the gardens which isn’t enough time, but we still enjoyed the tour. The next time we come back to Paris I could do another trip just to Versailles to catch all the info I may have missed and to get more time exploring the outside. It was beautiful and the people that give the tours are very nice and easy to understand.
Doing what: Versailles and Giverny Day Trip
We met at Musee D'Orsy and had just a short walk to the train for our trip to Versailles. The guide rode with us on the train and took us to Versailles where we met our guide for the tour. I hate to say I cannot remember her name, but she was excellent. We toured the gardens a bit with her and then she left us to go on our own. We were to meet back with the group to go inside. Unfortunately, my husband and I got temporarily turned around and missed the meeting point. But with the help of the headset (I could hear her voice) and the staff inside the palace, we found her. She was very knowledgeable, witty and gave us lots of little tidbits that we wouldn't have known. All in all a great tour and I would highly recommend this company.
Doing what: Skip the Line: Versailles Palace and Gardens Walking Tour
Wonderful guide who loves history and knows many details. The opulence has to be seen to be understood.

The skip the line feature was worth it! We took food and wine for a picnic on the grand canal which was lovely, but you'll need to check your food bag before going into the palace. No big deal, but ask your tour guide about it. Check out the croisants at the McDonald's next to the tour office. Best we had in Europe, even Paris...no kidding!

Fantastic tour! Aurora, our guide, was absolutely wonderful and very informative. Not a trip to miss! If you are from the U.S., do NOT miss seeing the Palace of Versailles.
Doing what: Skip the Line: Versailles Full-Day Tour
This was a very smooth, wonderfully organised trip. The bus left on time, and Our tour guide Manuela kept us entertained with all the stories at all the appropriate moments. The trip to Giverny was Really a high point. They gave us just enough information required and gave us enough time to enjoy the gardens on our own. The lunch at Moulin de Fourges was also very efficiently served. We were the only vegetarians on the trip, but nothing was an issue with them. Versailles was horribly crowded, but that was because we picked the wrong day to visit. However, our guide took us safely without having to wait, and gave us so many explanations that kept the trip very interesting. We also arrived on time to our point of departure. Will I book with y again ? Most certainly.

The grounds and palace were fantastic but be ready for a lot of walking. The palace is so large you do a lot of walking and climbing of steps. The walk from the parking lot is some distance from the palace over rough cobblestones.

The trip could not have been better organised and our guy was absolutely wonderful.. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Versailles is a "must see". Take the time is explore not only the Chateau but to explore the gardens and other buildings. The opulence and beauty can only to truly appreciated by personally seeing it. The only complaint would be the bottlenecks of tourists in certain areas of the chateau.

One of the best tours we have done. Our guide made the day. Can't remember his name now but he was a male, from America.
Doing what: Versailles by Bike Day Tour
Great trip - Giverny was beautiful and Versailles very crowded. I only wish we had more time in the Versaille gardens - a half hour was not enough.

What a Great way to see Versailles. From the train trip ,picking up the bikes ,riding to the market and then to the gardens it was a day we will remember. As cold as it was Paul made the day so much fun .It even snowed as we rode the bike back to the lockup . Well worth doing .
