My 5 star rating is mainly based on the river cruise half of the trip. Our boat captain was David, and he was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about the river, animals, and birds, as well as being very personable and happy to answer our questions. Lunch at the Chobe safari lodge was delicious and plentiful. All of the transfers between hotel , customs, and game park were handled very smoothly. The game drive was just average. Our driver seemed to be in a hurry, and he wasn't very responsive to our interest in the birdlife. I realize part of the problem was that we did the drive in the heat of the day. If I had it to do again, I might stick to the river unless I could do the game drive very early or at dusk

Def worth booking through Viator, this was our second successful trip thousands of miles from home with Viator. Pick up on time and all so well organised. Wish we'd seen a lion but that was the time of years fault not Viator. Thank you xx
