Ok but not great. Too much residential sightseeing. Also the brochure led me to beleive we would see the castle. Only got a view from miles away.
This would have been so much better in an open double decker bus. Also, the guide recited the whole ninety minute tour, not a lot of spontaneity.
It was a wonderful experience for first time visitors of Victoria. We truly enjoyed our 90-minute tour of the BC capital because our driver guide was very knowledgeable and brought us to places we
wouldn't have gone on our own. Highly recommended!
I assumed that this was a double-decker bus tour, but it is a regular bus tour. My mistake, I should have checked. But it was a very warm day when we took the bus tour, so I was thankful for the A/C in the bus. A tour of Victoria with the driver giving facts/history/interesting points of interest and a few jokes here and there. I had gone on this tour before,so I knew what to expect. It was my parents' first time, and they fell asleep through some of it. They were surprised that a good portion of the tour was through the nicer Victoria neighborhoods. I think they didn't realize that Victoria, although beautiful, is not a large city.
Very worthwhile. We saw just how lovely Victoria is, areas that we hadn't seen by staying in the harbor area.
A fun way to see some of the sights in Victoria. See the numerous gardens and their beautiful flowers and landscaping. The guide, Andrew, was very informative and wanted to show us what we wanted to see and tailored the tour for us. Highly recommended!
A nice carriage ride but the guide shared very little about the sights and very expensive for only 2 persons. Load up the carriage or seek other venues for a tour.
The driver was full of information. I saw parts of Victoria and surroundings that I've never seen before. It was very relaxing and enjoyable!
Great idea to see Victoria on a tour before going on our own to shop. Only problem was that our pickup wasn't at the Empress Hotel as we were instructed, and getting to the location was a problem with a walking disability.
The driver was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had front seats on the top level of the 'Big Red Bus' and it was a fantastic view.
