Nice, fast, no hassles. Did not know it was cashless credit card only for buying things on board. Also I did not here an announcement saying when they expected us to arrive. Ferry was 20 minutes late but it was labour day weekend and the delay was caused by US Immigration not the ferry company.
We enjoyed the ferry ride from Victoria to Seattle. It was comfortable sitting at the tables and being served a morning snack at very reasonable prices. As a bonus we saw orca whales in the distance while we were speeding along to Seattle. The trip went very quickly and I would certainly recommend it.
When trying to work out how we could travel from Victoria to Seattle as quickly and smoothly as possible I was so excited to find the solution on line when I typed in transport from Victoria to Seattle on my PC. Living in far away Australia the task of planning our recent trip to Vancouver and then down the USA West Coast to San Diego was an interesting one. I'm very pleased to say that discovering the Victoria Clipper and our subsequent trip on it was just fantastic - a huge planning success and a trip we will always remember well.
Booking with VIATOR was easy and efficient. I'm definitely telling my travel agent friend about it so she can recommend this company.
We were lucky that our 6pm departure from Victoria was rescheduled to leave at 5pm. Travelling in mid October, this allowed us more daylight time so we could appreciate the beautiful scenery during the first part of the trip. Facilities on the ferry were excellent and the staff were very professional and attentive.
Disembarking in Seattle went smoothly and we were soon on our way to our hotel.
Book the Victoria Clipper for your next trip to Seattle or Victoria. You'll love it.
Great way to travel from Victoria to Seattle. On board commentary would have been good and a better system to retrieve luggage on arrival in Seattle would be good. Immigration staff at Seattle were not very welcoming, but really recommend the ferry as a way to travel

Our ferry ride from Victoria, B.C. to Seattle was wonderful...smooth sailing...very enjoyable.
This was first time Ferry experience and we trul enjoy this . Great time!!!
Everything was excellent. We liked that the bus took us on and off the ferry as that saved us standing in line and trying to figure out where to go, etc.
Great crew. Wonderful ferry. Highly recommend this way of travel between Victoria BC and Seattle WA. :-)
the Ferry experience was great. The seats were comfortable. The food on sale was good.
The staff were friendly and helpful.I bought Duty Free on board, the prices were very good.
Tours were offered and I bought 2.A totally professional service.
One warning - don,t take cash as they only take cards so the Canadian Dollars I took on the trip
ended up useless as after Seattle I was heading back to Australia.
Efficient, comfortable ferry.
The trip was excellent. This was the last leg of a 12 day excursion across most of Canada from our home in Louisiana which involved the following.
American Airlines to Montreal Airport, 747 bus to hotel, Queen Elizabeth Hotel, Via Rail to Quebec City, taxi to hotel, Hotel Port-Royal, taxi to train station, Via Rail to Toronto, Strathcona Hotel, Via Rail to Vancouver, bus and ferry to Victoria, Empress Hotel, van to Buchart Gardens, Victoria Clipper to Seattle,
Edgewater Hotel in Seattle, shuttle to SeaTac Airport, Alaska Airlines and American Airlines to home.
It was a wonderful journey. Would do it again tomorrow.
the travel on the passenger ferry from Victoria to Seattle was very good, plenty of room to move around plenty of staff on hand to help you with anything, free tea and coffee was appreciated, the terminal in Victoria not big enough for everyone waiting there for the ferry, overall a lovely journey and would reccomend this way to travel to Seattle.
The most enyable ferry ride i have ever taken in my 55 yrs of living.wonderfull people and wonder full service.ty
I really enjoyed the ferry. It was a very smooth trip. My only comment is to advise other travelers that there is, in fact, a taxi stand at the exit from the ferry in Seattle. I tried to find this info in advance, but was unsuccesful. Next time, I will take a taxi to my final destination instead of imposing on a friend for my ride.
Also, it owuld be nice if I could buy a cup of coffee ($1) without having to use my credit card!
The disembarkation was extremely well run and I appreciate the fact that employees were waiting at the exit to check baggage claims against the tagged bags.
enjoyed the trip. The ferry was comfortable anad the staff friendly and helpful.
Very comfortable transport between Victoria and Seattle. Would highly recommend the high speed ferry.
Ferry trip was great -
It was an awesome trip but I think the Clipper let their passengers know that they only accept Visa or Mastercard to purchase items on the ferry. We were lucky we packed snacks for our ferry ride. I would go by Ferry again if I had the chance
Well informed through emails in preparation. Roomie comfortable seating. Friendly and helpful staff. Only complaint, the windows on our side of the ferry were not clean and minimized the spectacular views at times. We watched the other side windows be cleaned while we waited to board. We assumed both sides had been cleaned. All in all a great experience. Because the wait to board inVictoria is quiet long it would be great if there is some way waiting could be done outside when weather permits to further enjoy the harbor view.
The visit to Victoria was very interesting. We visited the British Colombia Assembly building, Museums, Theatre, enjoyed food in down town area, enjoyed seaplane ride and finally returned to Seattle by the fast ferry.
Considering we had ten foot swells on our return trip to Seattle, the crew was very attentive and assisted passengers as their needs arose. Would I take the ferry again ? You bet Ya. The sea captain kept us abreast of the weather and course while doing his best to navigate higher than normal seas.
The ferry service was good. The price is a little high. For the price I paid you would expect to get a snack and drink.
Trip was nice - disappointed that we couldn't buy wine in the duty free shop. Although this was not the ferry fault but we couldn't rent a car at the ferry dock. Also becuz all the Rental car companies closed at 500p and we arrived at 830p
Great ferry trip
The ferry was very comfortable. We enjoyed the ride and saw several whales. I would have preferred to have seating outside also to be able to see better. The ferry provided free coffee which was a nice plus. Vancouver Island was one our favorite vacations. There is not a location that there isn't beautiful. We would definitely go back.
