Very nice tour and palace is beautiful. There was even time to have coffee and cake (not included).
If you are looking for a quick city overview and palace visit, this is perfect. If you want something more, keep looking. The free time after the visit to the palace is very short, so if it's during the summer and want to spend time in the gardens, I'd stay at the palace and take the subway back. Since it was cold, I took the bus back to the opera and was able to join the 2 pm tour.
yes helpful and interesting
The problem was NOT Viator, but the local company. They put us on an German only speaking tour -- so the city tour was a waste of time. We told the guide that we didn't speak German and that our voucher clearly stated -- that we gave her and she looked at -- that it was supposed to be an English speaking tour. When we arrived at Schonbrunn they put us with the correct group. She acted irritated and angry with us even though she was the one who said that this was our bus.
30 min late pick up from hotel:(. Guide spoke two languages: French and English to accommodate the group which was supposed to be English speaking only so half the time we had to wait for guide to translate. Very superficial information was provided on history of Vienna. Was a waste of money and time
It is ok if you want to ride quickly past certain buildings and spend a very short time in Schonbrunn Palace without time for the gardens. I think a hop-on-hop-off is much better . Value for the money = not good!
The meeting point is very badly marked. Almost missed the tour.
The tour gaild was not helpful.
You can do the tour by youself.
The tour was good and well organised. The bus was modern and in good condition, and the guide was good. Only one draw back was we had a group of about 35 who booked an English tour, however there were 2 persons who could only speak French, the the guidance was 50% English and 50% French which meant we did not get a full commentary, because half the time was taken up with French commentary. They should have organised better than that. But overall we enjoyed the places visited and the content.
The tour was interesting and the tour operator did a pretty good job of handling all the necessary arrangements.
Got off to a rather slow start as we had to take a shuttle bus to the main bus station to join up with the main buses including others who were doing other trips. Guide was very knowledgeable and spoke good English. Good experience as an introduction to the city. Schonbrunn is spectacular!
The tour was Ok. But I was expecting more. The tour guide was Ok too but he lacks compassion with the tourists. He actually left us at the palace. After he got the earphones, we just bought a bottle of water for just 2 minutes. When we got down, he was gone. He doesn't deserve a tip.
Nice coach tour of the city center with excellent English speaking tour guide. I would like to have had more time at the Schonbrunn Palace for more time in the Palace garden.
Fantastic ,Need to allow plenty of time to enjoy looking round at leisure Organized tours are limited to the amount of time available to look round.Would have been super to have had more time to take in the garden. However it is a must for an beautiful experience
