Doing what: Vienna Historical City Tour with Schonbrunn Palace Visit

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour of this wonderful city as a first introduction to our holiday, and it gave us a clear picture of how to go about our later explorations. The guide was very informative and helpful. Unfortunately, I had to ask a tourist seated immediately behind me to stop talking during the tour as he was talking over the commentary, even though the guide had asked everybody to respect the everybody's need to heare the talk. Still after that, all was well!

The sightseeing tour of Vienna was a bit disappointing as all we did was complete the ring-road around inner Vienna. The tour of the Schonbrunn Palace itself was very good and we found our guide excellent for both the city tour and the palace. We wouold have liked to have had more time at the palace and thought that things were a little rushed. This was no doubt due to the fact that we were waiting outside our hotel for nearly three quarters of an hour waiting to be picked up despite being told before 10am that our driver was on his way. This needs sorting out if you are not to have more frustrated travelers.

Guide was very knowledgeable, though a bit disorganized at keeping the group together. Palace was beautiful, but we had to move through it very quickly and had only 15 mins to tour the gardens. Sightseeing omitted Karleskirsch.

Not bad - we had a good time during the tour and everything went according to plan.
When we got picked up from our hotel and dropped off at the bus station, there weren't any instructions on what we needed to do. Other tourists were just standing there looking confused. Only when I walked onto around to the half dozen buses parked there I noticed one had a sign with this tour printed. We walked up and asked if this was the bus we should be on and they confirmed. It would've been nice if someone had been at the station to direct us.
The guide spoke both English and Spanish, both at a pretty rapid pace so sometimes it was difficult to grasp all that he was saying. He was a little monotonous and so it was easy to lose concentration.
Schonbrunn Palace was beautiful, and the inside tour was great, but we hardly got time to look at the gardens.

Excellent tour- Exceptional guide- We enjoyed it very much!!

A good introduction to Vienna city and the Palace. A large group but it worked well.

Doing what: Vienna Historical City Tour with Schonbrunn Palace Visit

show was ok but when we presented our viator voucher for concert tickets they had no info. about our booking ,they had to ring viator for confirmation .I think it was viators fault not to inform them upon receiving payment from us.We did grt our tickets but after some discussion!

This trip was very quick and not much time for photos =(

Worth doing as your first tour in Vienna. The palace tour is a bit hectic due to the amount of tourists there but the guide was funny.

I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the palace. Going in a tour means that you bypass the queuei. Which was 2 hours long. Make sure you give yourself the rest of the day at the palace and get the train back to town. They only give you about 40 minutes after the palace tour and you will need the rest of the day to see everything there

Good tour, great and knowledgeable guide. A a good way to get your bearings. Schonbrunn Palace is a highlight but it was unfortunate that more time was not available to visit the gardens. Beginning of tour was not well handled as a number of "collection" buses were brought to the tour office area to reassign customers to their tours but instructions on which buses to move to were very vague at best. It was a Sunday so maybe the management A team was not there.

The city tour portion was basically the Ring Road encircling Vienna. This traverses over the course of old city walls and along the Belvedere. Prater Park and the UN sites were not included...the tour was a good orientation to the City Center. Schonbrunn Palace was too short a visit (~75 minutes) to do justice to the grounds and zoo and there was no visit to the palace rooms.

The tour was very good. We were taken to some wonderful sights. The Schonbrunn Palace was a real highlight of the tour

Good and informative, but needed more time at the palace.

The palace was wonderful and very interesting. Unfortunately, there just wasn't much time there and the Guide was not very informative. It seemed rushed because of the tioming of the entry and the bus pick up. City tour was OK.
