This was an amazing way to see and get around the city. Clean buses and great routes, there were 3 different routes you could take depending on what you wanted to see in the city. Highly recommend to first-time travelers and repeat travelers to DC. There were many convenient stops at hotels and restaurant areas and many great photo opportunities while on the top of the bus. My 7 year old daughter summed it up in one word...AWESOME.

Highly recommend this bus to get around the area. It covers a VAST area and you can transfer to 2 other busses that go to different areas. Very convenient and air conditioned for those hot days. Sitting on the upper deck was fun, but watch for tree limbs! I do not recommend driving your car, no parking and if you do find a meter, it is for 2 hours. At this time, 2011, there is construction everywhere. Do not call the contact number on your confirmation for info because they just sell the trips basically and can only verify info you already have. I called to see if I was in the right pick up area and after 3 calls and 2 numbers they gave me, I gave up. Call Viator to get any help you need, they were VERY prompt, courteous and polite.

We stayed in Virginia and took the metrorail to union station where we easily found the Gray lines for our bus. As we traveled we got to hear information about different buildings. The monuments were close by the drop off spots so we were able to get off and on. The top of the bus was open and was really hot it was 85 that day, but you could see so much more. The ground level area on the bus was air conditioned and it felt really good. We had a great time and I would recommend this tour again.

A really good way to see the city if time is limited. We took all routes and chose to get off at the things we really wanted to see close up. A free boat trip was also included but unfortunately we did not have the time to take up the offer.

I have been to DC several times. This is the first time we used a bus tour. It was the greatest way to see DC! We learned things about DC that we didn't know because of the tour and we could get off and on as we pleased to see things in more detail. It was such a relief to get on the air conditioned bus and ride to the next thing we wanted to see. The employees were great! They were polite and very helpful. I highly recommend visiting DC this way! K. K. from New Mexico

Thereare 3 separate loops which covers DC in every way. Buses were frequent and staff very pleasant. The pass also included a free 50 minute River Cruise.A great experience and I'm getting a 2nd pass tomorrow
