Tour itself was great! Rode some two days. Did this is help offset walking due to my daughter's sports injury. Gary was a great guide. Second guide seemed a bit tired and/or flustered but was very nice. My biggest issue was the requirement to print vouchers . I bought on line and sent to my phone but they were unable to deal with this. We had to find a FedEx office and print which was a pain in the neck. The people at the Union Station booth weren't really helpful about it. In the end it all worked out and tour itself met all of our expectations. They should really find a green, digital solution though.

We booked this tour because I was traveling with my elderly mother, who cannot walk long distances and tires easily. I would not book this tour otherwise because the time spent waiting on the trolley to pick us up could have been used moving on to the next site (and seeing things on the way) instead of standing around. The pick up spots were not marked with signs as your website had indicated so there was a bit of confusion as to where to wait. The drivers were very helpful and informative. We were very thankful to be in out of the weather while getting from place to place. However, I personally didn't think it was worth the money.

Great way to tour with hop on/hop off privileges. We signed up to get to Arlington as we had seen the monuments the previous day. One problem--the wait for a bus to return back to the monuments area was too long at Arlington and too long for a trolley to continue on from there. Crowded conditions warranted more vehicles in operation. Our tour guide, Jeremiah, was fantastic, however.

The tour itself was good, but our wait was not good. It was very cold and windy on April 2, and we had to wait for quite a while outside before a trolley came that we could board. It seems that the company should have extra personnel and trolleys available for high volume days.

Using the online feature was a nightmare as the drivers didn't accept the e-ticket, forcing me to go into the ticket booth and wait for a printed ticket. The process took two hours and detracted from tour time. Once on the bus, it was a great experience ...great drivers!
Note from Viator: Thank you for your feedback! For a lot of Hop-on Hop-off Buses, though they accept the e-voucher for their reservations, they will still request for you to exchange your voucher for one of their passes, for their records. The information, as it appears on your voucher, is:
Please exchange your voucher with [the Tour Operator] which will be stamped with the date. This can be exchanged at stops #1 and #4

Helpful, friendly, on time. Some passengers didn't find in the bus so the bus driver " radio" the main office to get another bus.

This was awesome, we only had 4 hours in Washington so had already preplanned what we wanted to see. The Hop on hop off took us directly to our wish list. The driver was a little hard to understand but on the whole was very great. Loved Washington and highly recommend this tour

Booked this on my phone and so I didn't have a paper ticket. The website did not offer a way to get an e ticket. Was told at the check in that I had to have a paper ticket. Had to walk around DC loooking for a print shop to email my confirmation to and have it printed. Then had to walk back to check in. Not happy. Trolly was noising (rattled a lot) which made it hard to hear tour driver's commentary. Drivers were personable and helpful though.

I wrote you a letter outlining my disappointments - the worsst was not knowing I had to bring my confirmation with me! I had all of the info from you, but never saw mention that I needed THE confirmation. I was told there were no places in the Train station in D.C. to retrieve my confirmation off the computer. I would have to go to Kinko's blocks. When I could not find Kinko's I went into the Hyatt Hotel, where the gracious staff got my confirmation off their computer. All of this took 1 1/2 hours of our day! When we finally got on the guides were wonderful! But, we had only 2 short rides; it was Saturday of Inauguration, and yes, it was crowded. But we spent far too much money for 2 short rides. I cannot recommend you.

The trolly is the best way to see DC!! The convenience of getting off and on at your own time table was great. The gentlemen who drove and commented were very knowledgeable, courteous, and witty, they made our tour a very good one.

The staff are fantastic and really knowledgeable about their fantastic city ! My advice: If you get in with a good driver, just do the entire tour with him, and select your stops on the 2nd loop.
