I'm just begining research for a family vacation to Washington DC. Planning the best time to go is my first question. I think you may have answered it for me with your insight to the Cherry Blossom Festival. We live in Southern Calif. so we are use to good weather. The weather in DC is a concern of mine and I don't want to tramatize my family with an extream weather change especially since my 3 yr old grand daughter will be with us. It looks like this time next year will be a good time for us to go. Planning this special trip will take much more research but I think I have a good start with your comments. Thank you.
