It’s worth timing your trip to New Zealand’s capital to coincide with the NZ International Arts Festival.Taking place in Wellington from February 24 to March 18, 2012, the festival attracts artists and performers from all over the world and promises a three-week program chock full of the best in international arts and culture.
Wellington’s waterfront is this year being transformed into a new Festival hub. A giant multimedia artwork, First Contact 2012, will turn Te Papa into a huge moving canvas each night at dusk while on the foreshore you’ll find a vintage Big Top, a Spiegeltent and a Festival Club.
