Trip Planning & Itineraries
Whistler, the unmistakable snow covered gem of British Columbia, is a hotspot for winter sport enthusiasts. This resort town is just a short drive on the Sea to Sky Highway (Hwy 99) outside of the bustling capital. Whistler is one of the world's most popular alpine destinations, and also the proud co-host of the 2010 Winter Olympics with Vancouver.
While this winter paradise is obviously known for its wide variety of snowbound activities , Whistler also attracts outdoor thrill seekers in the off season who can't get enough of the mountain biking, zip lining , and other activities sure to give you an adrenaline rush.

Best of Whistler: Suggested Itineraries
Although Whistler is considered an "alpine resort," don't expect to lounge at the spa all day. With activities for the new adventurer and the seasoned extreme sports lover, your days will be packed with excitement and Olympic-sized fun for every season. From ATV tours to Fondue by Snowmobile, you're sure to find an adventure to fit your style and budget.
Winter Snowmobile Adventures
When skiing and snowboarding just aren't exciting enough for you, exploring Whistler by Snowmobile is the next best thing! Tour the valley by Blackcomb on the Fitzsimmons Creek Snowmobile Tour or take on more challenging Backcountry terrain of Callagan Valley. See the mountain in the moonlight with a Night Snowmobile tour to add some adventure to your trip.
ATVs Galore
All Terrain Vehicles were made for exploring Whistler. From mountains to valleys, with an ATV tour you won't miss any sights of the amazing wilderness. The best lookout points on the Whistler Valley are only reachable by ATV during the warmer months. The Crazy Horse ATV tour was made for thrill-seekers covering more challenging routes. For a change of scenery, check out the pristine sights of Blackcomb on a Sunset Tour .
Summer Nature Tours and Climbing
Take your hiking experience to the next level with a Glacier Hike or Rock Climbing tour exploring all the crags and cracks of the Whistler geological formations. If you're looking for a safer trip try a Treetop Canopy Tour , or the more adventurous should try the new exhilarating climbing excursion Via Ferrata .

The 5-star Four Seasons Resort Whistler is one of North America's most popular mountain destinations among its finest luxury hotels. The hotel lies nestled in British Columbia's Coastal Mountains only ninety minutes from Vancouver, and provides access to amazing skiing, championship golf, and wilderness adventures.
This friendly, well-established, adult-oriented lodge is the ideal mid-range sleepover. Rooms are dependably comfortable and most have the added bonus of a personal jacuzzi to lure you back from the slopes at the end of the day. Away from the central hubbub (don't worry -- you're still only a few minutes from the main square), the older Pinnacle has been well-maintained. The rooms are unusually long and narrow but all have full kitchens (there's a supermarket nearby), a balcony, and a large jacuzzi plonked incongruously to one side - you can watch TV from the tub, then hop straight into bed.
It doesn't get much more central than the Crystal, located on the main drag of Whistler Village. Its rooms are divided between standard quarters (a close-in, motel-style place to crash) and loungey, boutique-style suites that exude West Coast cool. Facilities include a large outdoor pool, a fitness center and a sauna on the second floor. The main reason for staying here, though, is the location: the Village Gondola is a short stroll away and there are dozens of bars and restaurants a few steps from the hotel.
