After exploring the many meandering paths past ponds, monuments and pagodas, take the short hike to the pagoda on top of Yangshuo Park Peak for some of the best views of the town below. The family friendly park includes a children’s play area complete with a few small rides and is free to the public, making it the perfect low-key activity for a relaxed afternoon.
While people watching potential is generally at its best in the afternoon, early risers can head to Yangshuo Park to watch people in large groups slowly moving through tai chi routines as the sun comes up.
