Doing what: Day Trip to Lucerne and Engelberg from Zurich
I didn't like this tour at all; however, I liked Top of Europe tour. The interpreter was annoying and didn't know much of information! Simply, I didn't enjoy it!

Doing what: Lucerne City Tour
Lucerne is a nice city. But the coach bus for this trip is a mixture of people going to Lucerne, Pilatus and Rigi. So I think they make a longer way so as to drop the Rigi people at a drop off point then proceed to Lucerne. By the time we reach Lucerne it's already noon, so I think this is not good. Initially I thought the Lucerne trip just comprise people going to Lucerne whereby they will bring us to a few must see places and then gives us 6hrs of free time. Also the coach bus is not very comfortable and service not as good as another tour that we took.

Doing what: Lucerne City Tour
Only have about 35 - 40 minutes in Lucerne, not much time at all as the tour company packed 5 tours on the same bus with different destinations along the route. We were always rushing, rushing, and hurry up. What a pity, did not get to enjoy much of the city.

Doing what: Lucerne City Tour
Outward trip was very good, but very disappointed on the return trip. Bus started 45 minutes late than schedule time, also not enough room for the people was waiting to return to Zurich. I was forced to take my daughter on my lap and guide-lady didn't show any courteous manner rather very rude.

Doing what: Lucerne City Tour
While I really enjoyed my trip to Lucerne, there was no city tour other than going to look at a lion carved in stone. I was the only person left in the city while all the others went to Tiglis. I think it would have been better taking the train there on my own.

Doing what: Lucerne Folklore Tour
This is one I would take a pass on. The Folklore show was entertaining but that's all the trip is good for. There was no tour of the city before hand, as we were just dropped off due to the fact the bus had folks on it that were going to Titilus Mountain. Food was adequate, show at times bizarre, and to have to hang around for four hours after the show was a total waste of time. Time that could have been used for other sightseeing events. If you must see Lucerne, do a 1/2 day trip, not a full day.

Doing what: Lucerne City Tour
I did not like the arrangement as the tour was guided only until we reach Lucerne i.e. until the bus drops us at Lucerne near Lucerne main station. After that, it was up to us to travel where we want. This was good so that we can explore the city ourselves but then why should I book the Lucerne tour with the operator, instead I could have taken train to Lucerne hauptbahnhof and would have definitely cost less than what I paid for the tour. I think this tour is not value for money.

Doing what: Lucerne Folklore Tour
The show was nice until the fake cow came out. Then they did the chicken dance, or whatever it is called. I thought it went downhill from there, but the rest was really nice. I liked the alpenhorns, the singing saw, and the broom dance. The flag throwing was nice also. Just be prepared that they may call you up to participate.

Doing what: Lucerne City Tour
Wonderful tour, but started off on wrong foot. After several e-mails and phone calls from U.S.A., I was assured that I had reserved, confirmed and reconfirmed hotel pickup from a listed hotel. On arrival at the hotel, I called to give my room as was requested by Viator. At that point, I was told the said the service no longer existed. I "pitched a fit", and they did agree to send a bus for the passengers at the hotel. All was great after that. Loved Lucerne and had good guide and bus driver.

Doing what: Lucerne Folklore Tour
Enjoyed the bus trip to Lucerne. The scenery is spectacular and is definitely worth it. Not sure about the folklore lunch - the food was adequate, tasty and served promptly, but there are numerous similar restaurants nearby where I would expect that competition ensures a similar quality. The folklore show was at times quite corny. We had about 3 hours in Lucerne afterwards for exploring alone. I do consider this trip to be good value for the money paid and the convenience of a full day's outing.

Doing what: Lucerne City Tour
Not really a tour, they pick you up at Zurich and drop you to Lucerne and give you a map. I think the Lucerne tourist information does a better job for free then the tour and then you are on your own. Once we found this out we upgraded to Mt. Pilatus and it was worth it.

It would be better to go by train and spend more time in the beautiful city.

Doing what: Lucerne City Tour
The weather was bad. I think that Viator should have mentioned that the day we booked the tour for was a national holiday - almost all of the stores were closed.

Doing what: Day Trip to Lucerne and Engelberg from Zurich
Very little time in Lucerne e too long in Engelberg where the tour fuide did not have any info about the place and since it was Sunday the monastery was closed. 1 hour in Lucerne and 3 hours in Engelberg where there was only a small cheese factory to see.

Doing what: Day Trip to Lucerne and Engelberg from Zurich
This trip was BAD! We were the only 2 on the bus booked for this tour out of about 30 people. Sooo....after 3 hours they dropped us off alone to fend for ourselves for 5 hours. There was only two main attractions to see in Engelberg. The monastery was the big attraction and it is closed on Sundays so every door was locked and tours were unavailable. The second attraction was the cheese factory that was a small 10 foot diameter glass cylinder in the middle of a gift shop that would do the process of cheese production. The city is an expensive ski resort. On Sundays most of the gift shops and restaurants are closed. So we had 5 hours to eat at a cafe, shop at expensive shops, and to watch them mix milk. It was ridiculous and we DO NOT suggest this to anyone.
