Zurich’s spirited Christmas markets are celebrated around Europe, with stallholders dolling out cups of steaming gluehwein (mulled wine) and stalls selling everything from beautifully hand-crafted Christmas decorations to gift-boxes of freshly baked lebkuchen (gingerbread).
