Heidiland: Heidi Attractions Near Zurich

The tours and tourist destinations in the Bündner Herrschaft area are known collectively as Heidiland, travelers with children and/or the young at heart won’t want to miss the pleasures of one of the many guided day trips that are based out of Zurich.

You’ll visit the so-called Heidi House from the beloved Heidi stories and other related sites, wend through stunningly beautiful alpine valleys, and enjoy views of striking peaks, lakes, gorges, caves and waterfalls.

Generally, tour groups cross over into neighboring Liechtenstein. The capital, Vaduz, is an excellent place to catch your breath and indulge in a little novelty shopping.
