Swiss Countryside Experience

I think this was our favorite tour!! We had a wonderful tour guide
and would put this on your not to be missed list!! This was a full
day tour that included stops at the Lindt Chocolate Store, Cheese factory,
Cable car tour on pre-alps and another Swiss town stop.

Great tour with a very informed guide. Saw a lot of the countryside and the stops at the Lindt and Appendell stores were very interesting.

Our guide and driver was henry he was at is best and he kept us alive with is jokes and humor.

Our tour guide Ernest was a lovely man, he drove whilst providing interesting facts about the country and the towns we would visit. The Lindt factory was my favourite stop, we purchased collectively about 5kgs of chocolate! The cheese tour was rather short and unexpected, there was only a small viewing section showing how the fat from the cheese is taken out. There is a large time gap provided towards the end of the tour which we felt was rather unnecessary for you to explore the town. I guess if the weather had been sunny it would have been nice to take a walk around the quaint little streets, however it was pouring rain so we ended up hiding in a patisserie shop for an hour or so until we could go back onto the bus.

It was amazing . Well organized . Good Job and a first timer i always recommend . And also good guides ....

Interesting trip with good guide. However did not realise that this trip is combined with another trip. The idea being to leave us in Apenzell while the other trip is taken to the mountains and then collect us on the return journey. Due to the cahnge of mountain it meant that we were going to spend 5 hours in Apenzellbefore being collected. As this was much to long we had to pay the additional money to join the mountain trip. The time at the cheese factory was much too short

The tour was fantastic and the tour guide did a superb job on giving us loads of information about Switzerland. The Appenzel tour was fantastic. Kids enjoyed this trip very much and the chocolates at the Lindt outlet was very cheap.

Visiting the Lindt outlet was terrific. Went up the mountain by cable car, had lunch at the top, unfortunately it was rainy and fogged in so the views were very limited. Guide was friendly and informative.

Trip was good. Nice to have only 15 people. Van was very nice. Expected a walking tour of Appenzel, but I guess it was not included

The guide did a good job on the tour itself. However we were charged and extra 20 Swiss Fracs each because there were only 4 people on the tour. This was extremely upsetting and made for a very bad start

Love the tour!!! We had a small group of 9 and went on a small miniVan. It was comfortable and Heinz our tour guide was very friendly and helpful. We had a great day despite clouds on the mountain and rain at our last destination.

Our driver Daniel made this a great trip. Very knowledgable and entertaining. I understand he only works one day a week, we had him on a Tuesday, so hopefully you get him too. The chocolate part was just a stop at the factory store. The cheese part was for the Appenzeller brand of cheese, which is not the traditional "Swiss" style of cheese we are used too, but still interesting. Taking the tram to the top of the Alps and overlooking mountains into Liechtenstein was beautiful. We had a very nice lunch at the restaurant on top of the mountain. Again, Daniel made every part of our tour very enjoyable.

Beautiful bird's eye view of life in Swiss countryside. Bus driver/guide Ernst was very personable and informative which highlighted the day's experience.

This was a terrific tour. Our guide's name was Konrad and he had a great mixture of historical knowledge and personal experiences he shared that added greatly to the day. He also talked us into taking the mountain excursion which was worth every extra franc. One issue I had was that the extra mountain excursion was not explained when we checked in so when I went to purchase it I was not asked if I wanted it and the viator description was not clear on that..
It made our start late on the tour.. That could have been handled more gracefully
