The endless tulip fields outside the coach windows as we travelled to the Keukenhof Gardens from Amsterdam. The coach ride was about 30-45 minutes. We decided to fly from London to Amsterdam and see the gardens on April 26th, 2011. The "tulip blooms" cannot be guaranteed but travelling mid-April gives you one of the best chances to see the gardens in all of their glory.
