Wonderful tour and very informative. I was a little depressed the castle is currently undergoing renovations, so I had a lot of scaffolding in my pictures. The train ride was nearly 2hrs, so bring something to keep you busy or do what I did and sleep.

A lot of walking, but I hardly noticed. This tour was packed with all kinds of stories of the Third Reich, with pictures to help illustrate the stories and the locations. Very well presented.

Wonderful tour. I recommend the tour before exploring Salzburg. The company gives you a wonderful and easy to use map identifying additional locations for Sound of Music sights.

Dinner was amazing--food was top notch. Drinks a little on the pricy side. I saw a similar show in Vienna. While the Vienna location was nicer, the delivery and performance at this show was top-notch!! A wonderful and romantic evening!

I have taken at least 30 Viator tours and this was by far my least favorite. I was very disappointed for several reasons. First, I took a wine tour through Viator several years back and it was magnificent--this was NOTHING like my previous tour. Second, the tour guide was a novice and knew very little about wine--she kept saying, what my boss told me is...Third, we started at a market, which had nothing to do with wine, then had to walk and take a train to the office (which was a book store/bike store--ruined the mood), then we ate after wine tasting and we had to walk another 15-20 min. Too much walking. Fourth, as I mentioned the venue was less than expected--a bike shop turned wine tasting?? No! Fifth, the guide was running late and she had another tour so she left us...unacceptable.

Wonderful evening. I recommend VIP seating for a up-close and unobstructed view. Very well done. This is my second time attending and I enjoyed every moment. Beautiful venue. I also recommend the dinner. The food was terrific and service was very professional.
