Versailles Independent Day Trip from Paris

My Review: The trip was great, despite the fact that we were there during the strike. Our guides did a great job of making up for the disappointment upon our arrival. My only negative comment is attributed to the behavior of a bus driver who was extremely rude. I asked for assistance with clarification on which bus to take for the trip. At that time, he made it abundantly clear that I was a "stupid" American, and insisted that I say "bonjour" before he would assist me. When I explained that I said, "excusez moi", to address him and ask for help, it did not seem to matter. He wanted to make a point that "bonjour" is the proper greeting for HIM. Since I was concerned I had missed my bus, and the fact that the counter person mis-informed me about which bus to take, I was not concerned about saying "bonjour" at that very moment. His behavior made the start of the trip a very negative experience.

Eiffel Tower Dinner, Seine River Cruise and Moulin Rouge Show by Minivan

My Review: I enjoyed the experience on the whole. I was disappointed that our dinner was moved before our trip down the Seine. I had not planned to eat so early. The trip to the Moulin Rouge was a bit disappointing. The show itself was low-grade Las Vegas, and the staff there was quite rude. I didn't feel very welcomed and would not recommend this show for future travel. Our drivers were changed several times throughout the experience, which made it difficult to know how to tip for their help. Also, they seemed to be somewhat overwhelmed with the amount of people they had to support and get to various locations all at the same time.
